Are run flat tires required in Canada for a CPO 2013 335xdrive?
I just punctured one of my runflat Continental ContiProContacts tires today and will be repalcing all 4 of my tires. I have 37,000 km on the tires and the tread is getting low on all 4 tires so I will just replace them all.
I may be trading in my 2013 335xdrive for possibly a 340 xdrive or maybe even a M3 in the next 6 to 12 months. For maximum resale on my trade in back to the dealer for the dealer to CPO my 2013 335xdrive in Canada does it have to have runflats or can it have non runflat tires? Looking at the cost in Canada, it looks like 4 non runflats are around $1,000 and 4 runflats are around $1300 to $1500. Thanks for any help offered! |

It is not require to have run flats for a trade in
but they give you significantly less money for it because they say they will have to unmount your tires and buy new run flats for it. But you can buy a set of used runflats on kijiji with decent amount of tread left and you'll be good to go. |

Thanks for the reply...........I ended up buying 4 Bridgestone Driveguard runflat tires last week. My old Continental runflats were down to 2/32" so they were close to their end anyways.
