Does light modification degrade my car's value?
I have a 14' 320i xdrive with halogen headlights and want to do a retrofit conversion to genuine xenon headlights.
But I was wondering if that modification hurts my car's value or not when I sell the car. |

If you do a full functioning retrofit with the leveling sensors as well, it should actually make the value good up a little, but given that these cars depreciate like crazy, I doubt you'll actually see any of it by the time you go to sell or trade. BTW, if you do go down the retrofit route, save yourself the hassle and go full adaptive, the static headlights have one part in them that's a pain in the ass to try and track down. It took me almost 2 years to piece the set I have together, and part if that was just trying to find the driver modules.
