I forgot I actually found that yesterday and had it sitting on my desktop. Not as great as the video I found for Stage 1, but I'm sure with everything in front of me it would be straight forward.

What sort of connection did you do for the power? Just tap into the jumper terminal or something more permanent?

Ran into a system lockdown on my car with Stage 2 Map 2 today. I had experience with a lockdown before with stage 1. With stage 1 it happened after 2 hard runs... the warning came on my screen and told me to drive back to dealer for a check-up. My car was limited to 1000 rpm. After i turned off my engine and turned it back on. I waited 2 mins for the light to disappear and drove normal again. Today it happened when I was driving normally on a highway. Prior to the lockdown I noticed Map 2 sometimes does not feel smooth while driving. Feels like it was a glitch and could happen at low speed. Feels like the acceleration skips a little bit. I felt it couple of times driving on high way around 70 miles an hour. Today as I was picking up speed up to 70 miles it happened again and came the lockdown. What should I do?

Wow!! I guess you'll just have to wait for Terry to respond. Does he know your in Taiwan? I wonder if coding/language is different.

I've decided not to install a downpipe and no longer have any real desire to keep my stage 2 upgrade kit. If anyone is interested I'm selling it for $150 shipped. I have a post in the classifieds as well.

V10 300wtq 10:1 ratio = 3000 multiplied wheel torque
I6TT 440wtq 7:1 ratio = 3080 multiplied wheel torque

So yes the M5 could rev higher and thus stay in a lower gear (10:1) giving it better torque multiplication. However since the N55's torque is so much more ( ~50% more in the low & mid range) even at the higher gear (7:1) the multiplied wheel torque for both are equally matched...now add the fact that the load is 500lbs less on the 335i (3590 vs 4090) and the 335i should accelerate faster with the same amount of multiplied torque...

** The "wtq" figures are relatively accurate, however the gear ratios used are example only, used to illustrate the point that an engine with more rpm isn't always faster; rpm, gearing, torque, and weight all matter.
Don't forget area under the curve...

Yes..... I've traded emails with Terry and I'm going to log couple of runs for him to check. He mentioned that it happened to their test car one time with DP correspond to what happened to me. I had it happened to me once with stage 1 and now stage 2. Both times I had the DP on... Stage 1 was right after hard runs and this time it was on normal driving. I have the Challenge HFC DP .

I'd appreciate if you kept me posted. I was thinking I may go with the Challenge HFC and Stage 2 later on in the summer.

Knock on wood - I have the Challenge HFC DP as well and no issues yet. Drives like a beast but I've only pushed it maybe 10-12 times are so. How often do you get on it?

Not too often at all.... like I said... it happened to me with stage 2 when I was driving normal. I'm wondering once you are on Map 2, can you still use the steering wheel to change it to map 0?

Do you ever notice your normal acceleration to be not smooth? I think it doesn't happen every time but sometimes driving on the street I would feel like the car just kicks....

Stage 1 all else stock.. I was in limp mode (limited rpm) after 2-3 days after install. It happend after a hard run when shifting from 2nd to 3rd from a dig. I parked the car at home, turned it off and back on and the light was off. The next morning on my way to work in came back on while in traffic. On my way back home the light appeared to be gone again. I decided to test my luck - I spotted and smoked a Evo on the way home that day and hasnt come on since. I beat this shit out of it everyday

Just yesterday gave a cts-v coupe with one other person in his car a bitter surprise.. couldnt keep up or pass from a 10-15 mph roll onto a highway. He was def. surprised I love this car

Good lord, what year cts-v?? I love my 335i but wouldn't expect it to be that close to a new cts-v given the fact that it has about 200hp on our cars.

Not sure what year to be honest. He was riding my a$$ getting onto the highway and we both jetted once it opened up. I may have had a one second jump on him when the median opened up but I'm sure he was surprised he couldn't come close to passing me after a 15 second run or so. This thing has balls with such a simple upgrade.

Pretty impressive. Ran any 0-60 or 40-80 runs? Or anything like that to compare between stock and stage 1?

It looks like Nick didn't see much of a difference in his quarter miles, which surprised me. I just installed it and haven't had much of a chance to get more than a 'feel' at highway speeds. It seems to move a bit better but really hard to say. Once it drys up I'll do some runs and video them to compare against my 0-60 and 40-80 and 60-80 runs. The one run I did from 20-60 I got wheel spin and traction control intervention, not sure if more due to the increased power or the damp road.

My not scientific testing showed I was getting in the 4.8 range from 0-60 stock though. I need a vbox...

These cars are fast. I keep walking New 5.0 GT Mustangs. I know they should be faster but I love the look on their faces.

I ordered a GTech Pro, has anyone had any experience with one of these vs the vbox? I imagine the vbox is superior but for the difference in price the GTech seemed like something worth trying out. They also don't have a restocking fee like the vbox if you decided to return.

No mine seems to be very smooth. Just the occasional whiplash when I stomp on it

I also haven't timed anything but my main concern is traction. Any time I get on it from 25mph or lower, I definitely spin the tires so I know thats going to hurt the times.
