I thought it would be an expensive thing joining this great forum £££👍👍,Now ringing the dealership and see if I can amend my order and fit a tow bar and see how much it is £££ 🙈🙈, think it was £750 on the option sheet, and that includes a larger radiator I read somewhere is that right???.
I will be ripping the walls down till delivery time, but i hope it's worth it!! 😜😜

I think this change might impact build slot as there's a few changes involved as you say. Lets see how you get on, certainly a great feature to have it electronically raise and lower.

Spoke to the dealer and luckily can include the electronic tow bar, as I only ordered the car yesterday, build slots have not changed 👍👍, so now the long wait begins 😢👎💩😢

I have just ordered a new 330d touring for March Delivery, my first new car can't wait.
My baby boy is a week old today, so selling my 63 plate Golf GTI to get the sensible Family estate!!!.

The Touring will hopefully do the job as an all rounder, comfortable, practical and performance and refinement with the 6 cylinder engine.
Hi Kieran and welcome to this forum. I think the spec of car you've ordered looks great. I've had my 330d tourer since November and just love it. The engine is a real jem and does everything I need. This forum has been spot on for advice.

I went for EBII and though it's popular on here, there are no other 330's near me in this colour. And I must still be on the honeymoon with this lovely thing - It's the first car I've had that I put in the garage

I'm hope I got a good deal, I have the ordered the following options -

Interior comfort package.
M Sport Plus Package.
Media Package.
Visibility Package.
Ext Mirrors.
Front Heated Seats.
Full tank of fuel and Williams Ceramic interior and exterior seal protection.
Saved over £8300 off list price with options.

Please be gentle with me as I will be asking stupid questions from time to time, lol.

Excellent choice for a family car! I have the 330d M Sport, the car is wonderful to drive, simply excellent for a family.

I have 2 children, a 7 month old and a 3 and a bit year old and the car is perfect for these guys and their clobber. Really comfy too, both fall asleep easily. The car is great fun too for solo drives.

I had a MB E500 and a new Kia Sportage when my first was born and these cars were not a patch on the F31.

Anyway, here's a pic (post winter wheels and AC Shnitzer suspension).

What roof box is that??, that doesn't look half bad for a roof box, I'm not a great fan of them. It does not look that agricultural on top of the car.

Hi Kieran,

It's a Thule Motion 200 - was about £375, plus £220 for the wingbars. They do a lower profile box for more money which is a bit more stylish, if such a thing is possible.

I tend to leave these roof bars on as don't make any noise. You can obviously get cheaper roof boxes such from Halfords but was impressed by the Thule kit and bought the set of bags that fill the space which makes it really ease to load - wifes excess clothes tend to go in here, with any room left for baby stuff :-). Gloss black looks good I think and matches the car trim, though very easy to scratch.

I just need to get a tow bar next for a bike rack, then might be able to treat myself to ACS springs and a power kit....

I have the motion 200 too and it's very good indeed. Worth every penny. Rate Thule over others I saw!
