Looks great Danny

Personally I prefer this version to the quad versions that we do, but each to their own. To my mind this is just "how it should be", plus 10%

Couple of points raised.

AC Schnitzer is not "BMW Approved". That label just means that BMW GB are the importer/distributor, which they were for AC Schnitzer as the official tuning brand until the launch of BMWMP in 2007, at which point ACS became a bit of a conflict of interest and ACS was returned to us as the original importers. However, ACS is still TUV approved and available at many BMW dealers, especially the petrolhead family-owned ones, as a sportier alternative and being equal in quality does not void your warranty.

Noise. These diesel exhausts give a slightly louder, deeper sound from new. But as the sound-absorbing material in the silencer gets compressed from pressure waves the sound will increase over approx 1000 - 2000 miles of running. It's never a big change on a diesel, but it is a pleasing improvement most say.

Technically not Bmw approved anymore. Just a good relationship with many dealers still speaking highly of their parts and are ready to obtain and fit at a cost !!

Didn't notice! That was a bit wierd, it's a pity you can't class a 330D as "the beast"
Lol! As for the beast, I had a 330d sDrive for a week as a loan car and I honestly wholeheartedly thought it deserved the title "The Beast" out of the two 330d/335d. It felt so much lighter, power delivery was immense and effortless, no delay, no lag, glued to the road, no floating.

It was more fun to drive with slightly slippery roads, admittedly didn't sound as great as the 335d when pushed to the max.

If I had the choice of which to go with out of the two, I would choose the 330d without hesitation. It has all the power you need, and it feels like a proper BMW!

Am seeing a lot of people getting bored of their 335d's very quickly but in proportion 330d crowd are much happier except for those who want a 335d!

You're one lucky man in the sense when you've ordered the 35d wasn't out at the time!

The change looks great, I want to do it!

I agree with a thought mentioned though, I would be inclined to debadge the car, it would look a lot cleaner.

A lovely change though.

A lovely change though.

It would catch people out if was debadged.

They would be thinking 'oh yeah, 320d with 2 exhaust'

Then get caught out by 330 power

Thanks this makes me more certain i made the right choice!

You should try mine with decent suspension, and the same power as a 335d!

Did you fit AC Springs on passive suspension?

That's interesting, I assumed it was aimed at the adaptive versions, is the ride harder (as in the suspension!)

Barely. You can feel the road surface a little more, but ride comfort is virtually unaffected, confirmed by my GF who not only didn't didn't feel the difference as a passenger, but also said the car handled much better when she drove it! She is not a car person at all, so hearing that from her is something!!

I do need to go a fraction slower over the larger speed humps though.

Not trying to boast, but i really look forward to driving it now, and that's on winter tyres and cold damp roads!
