I've nothing against driving a car very hard, but surely this is a bit OTT?
He could show what the car can do without burning so much rubber - maybe I'm just a bit tight and don't enjoy seeing tyres deliberately wasted lol !!

Nevertheless, it's a spectacular car.

Maybe, I suppose it's a matter of opinion - but to me when supercars are demonstrated to show what they can do there is too much rubber burning just for the sake of it - it's not clever and doesn't make the car corner faster, it's just for the cameras. In a race, whatever class of car - sideways is definitely not the fastest way round a corner!

missing the point again ^^

this car was built specifically to drift / do gymkhana

and chris harris just uses clips from the main ken block video

the 'point' of the car was solely for the cameras

gymkhana 5 was my personal fave

even if it was a regular supercar

chris harris himself has been outspoken about this;

these videos aren't free to produce

the ones where you drive cars sideways get more views, more views = more cash to continue producing videos

if you had a very deadpan video, no traction control off, you'd soon run out of cash

Tiff's entertaining if a little hard on the cars at times - remember him trashing some Nobles at Silverstone (and he likes a sherbet or two). I've filmed him (and Vicki) on a few corporates - both a pleasure to work with. Lovely people.
