Read your VO (FA), then hit the save button, then the edit button, and it will open in the FA-Editor. Expand FAList, scroll down to SALAPA-Element, and just double check that 6UH is listed. Assuming it is, go back to the Coding module, read your VO and VCM, Activate FA, then highlight the ECU itself (Not the underlying CAFD entry), and right-click on it and select CODE. It will code the entire ECU based on the VO (Options and Production Date primarily). DO NOT Mistakingly hit the "Code Default Vaules" button, or you will regret it.

Probably I'll do some posts more
I'm not sure, if I will actually need even 47.5, cause mine is build up finally this week. (For sure: better first wait for the car to get and then read the proper ISTA/P Version. But it was so boring to wait, so I thought I could at least meanwhile download those huge pszdata files before ) |

I run E-Sys 3.18.4 with pszdata 47.4 and the missing file for FEM_BODY that you sent me. The car is a 328i with production date 22-June-2012 (according to hidden menu). Delivery was End of July 2012. It's the german version, what is 6UH exactly? Perhaps we get different modules here? PS: But I have 6NF which is "Handyvorbereitung Bluetooth incl. BMW Assist" |

Similar thing has happened to me on my 2013. I no longer have sat radio and traffic info isn't appearing on the map anymore. Didn't touch any coding besides the lighting/comfort access and poof now it's gone. I can check TI_CA_TMC, anywhere else come to mind for me to check?

My MY2012 F30 has just been redelivered. And I'd love to code the mirrors to auto-fold and also to get rid of the iDrive accept screen.
But this thread has gone on for some time, wandered a little bit and has so many very detailed questions, that I don't know where to begin. As of today, where would a newbie: 1) Get the correct E-Sys application? 2) Find and download the correct level of psdzdata for an MY12? I am especially concerned about "missing" files that some people are discussing. What does this mean? That the level of psdzdata is wrong? That it was an incomplete download? Thanks in advance for your help.

Your car though may come in having been programmed with ISTA/P 2.47.5, in which case you too will be missing some CAFD files. It is not an issue or concern. You simply have to wait to code any module that requires a newer CAFD until the new 47.5 PSdZData becomes available for download. It won't harm anything by using the older PSdZData and encountering a missing CAFD file. Worst case is you are limited in which ECU's you can code.

Do you have 6VC Combox, and did you write a new VIN with factory 614 and 615 to it?

Read my Post 568 here to understand what is involved: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=568 It may also be possible on cars without a Combox, certainly it is from the factory, but I do not know how it could be done outside of the OEM solution in this case unless somewhere in the CIC you can write an alternate VIN that is used only for this purpose, as that is how it is done on Combox equipped cars. As for having a Combox or not, check and see if you have option 6VC.

Yes, that is what I needed. Damn, your car is loaded.
I was not aware 6WA Instrument cluster, expanded equipment was available on the F30, but since you have the 610 Heads-up display, it makes sense. Is 6WA in the F30 though a full Black Panel Display? As for 6UH Real Time Traffic Information, you do not have it as an option, but I don't know what that means on a German car, as in I don't know if it just comes standard with no option, or if you can, and have to, specify 6UH in order to get RTTI. Maybe someone else from Germany who knows can chime in.

6WA is included in "ACC stop & go" 5DF, Navigation and HUD. It can be bought as a standalone option though. It is called extended black panel since the panel in F10/F11 is called full black panel and is considerably larger.

Still, it is a Black Panel Display, and when the Instrument Panel is off, the gauges show no numbers on the dials for Speed and RPM?

It's nice, but it is not a black panel display like this, which is what I was wondering: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=500027

Yes, I have the "enhanced display", it is black when off. But it is available even without HUD and it makes sense without. |
