Does anyone know if the 2015 Tech Package now includes Enhanced Bluetooth? I have a 435 GC with Navigation and Enhanced Bluetooth on order however I am thinking about changing to the Technology Package if it now includes EBT.

I believe it is now a standalone option (6NS) and costs $500.

Why do you need Enhanced Bluetooth? All 2015s 3/435s have phone and music streaming. All you get with Enhanced is the second microphone and the snap in base plate (which makes the console useless).

Yes, and that is the only real benefit to Enhanced Bluetooth in 2015 models as BMW now offers standard Bluetooth in all models.

See above for 2015 changes. Whereas Enhanced Bluetooth was a must-have in 2013, not so any more. The main benefits are Office and Library browsing without wired sync.

As a person who uses two cell phones (personal and work) enhanced bt is great, but even if I didn't use two phones it would suck to have to connect my phone to a USB port just to browse it's library!

You don't. It can be done over Bluetooth. Enhanced is a waste of money, especially with an iPhone, which doesn't work with most of the Office stuff.

My 2014 included enhanced bt as part of the Tech Package, but apparently option 6NS (enhanced bt) is required to browse a music library over bt on the 2015 models.

I don't have it and I can go through the library on my iPhone5.

In MY14, 6NS was included with Navigation when you added it to the vehicle as a stand alone option or the Tech Package.

Ok, I'm confused. I have a 2015 F32 about to go in order now and would like the Bluetooth streaming just as I do on my 2012 F30, that's it.

Back then, had to pay for it. If streaming is now standard, I'd rather get the M Sport brakes option instead.

The enhanced is better and will let you add more than 1 phone, scroll through playlists, and have the ability to add the snap in adapter.

Pony up for the M Sport brakes anyway.

I have a MY2015 F36 with ZTP and I do have the ability to browse music libraries over BT and I do not have 6NS. I'm guessing it's the lack of 6NS that precludes me from connecting multiple phones?

For me, that 2nd mic is huge. quality of the bluetooth phone conversation is much improved and it is key for taking calls on the road (especially for work)

My car came with it, I like the second microphone. In my wife's car it only has one mic so if someone calls while she's driving no one can hear me talk. In the 335i we can both talk.

Update: Well, I couldn't keep the M Brakes with the 19' rims, so I kept the Enhanced BT and USB even though it looks like a waste of money for a darn mic. Don't wish to connect a second phone and don't like to check email or texts while driving even though my 2012 F30 can read text messages.

Hate the M 18' rims to no end, so I'll just make due with the standard brakes and enjoy my tech.

Why couldn't you keep the 19s with the M brakes? They were offered to me together, and a bunch of others have them.
