Finally picked up the new motor- just 6 miles on the clock!

Initial impressions- what a car!!!

Only tickling the throttle at the moment but you can tell there's plenty more under there. Been advised to 'run in'? Thought those days were over- going to listen though as they should know better than me.

Engine is very quiet just a little wind noise as the speed picks up....very different to my last diesel Audi! Ride is surprisingly comfortable much like my old 5 series M Sport

I have posted a couple of photos- i have found it very difficult to find photos of the Silver M Sport so i grabbed some with my iPhone- not brilliant but thought i would grab some while its clean

I hate to sound like a broken record - but I wish the M Sport was lower at the front!

Looking stunning in silver though, very nice.

Dopper-I know what you mean about the front although its the back that seems to ride really high. If you compare to the E90 M Sport it doesn't seem to wrap over the rear wheels. Still i don't spend much time looking at the back

Just a few miles north of you Nisfan so am certain to see you on the M1/A1.

As for the interior i wish i was brave enough for the red as it really does look good in the flesh! Mine is a bit stark-silver on black on silver on black etc!

Still the Mrs likes it she thinks it looks classy

Question- any one have Enhanced Bluetooth (6NK)? should i be able to stream audio without the snap in cradle?

At least we don't have the horrible reflectors on the front arches like the Americans do!

Garage List
Lovely looking car and unusual to see an M Sport in silver, makes it almost look innocent. "Going a bit quick officer? I'd never do such a thing"

Anyway, the 1200m will go soon enough if you're running it in then prepare to be 'entertained'

Oh and how are liking the 5-spoke wheels now you've got them? They're mean looking aren't they - sets the car off nicely.

I'm in Northants too....how was your buying experience with BMW Wollaston (looks like that dealership from your pics)?

Enjoy your new car!

Growing on me still think I'd like the 19's but will give it a while and see.

Probably 2 weeks should do it :0)

Yes dealer was Wollaston- give them a 6/7 out of 10.

Recently bought a new B Class from Mercedes and they were impeccable I guess they are having to try a little harder at the moment!

Living in London I have so say the number of Olympic cars was one the reasons I never considered silver.
However the combo with m-sport kit looks sleek. Congrats and nice snap shots. I'll should be picking up in the next couple of days so will drool overs yours for now!
