So the car was picked up today and has spent the morning on the motorway. Extremely pleased with the whole process and the car which I think looks great especially with the m performance body kit

[QUOTE=matt_320d;16452323]The 325d is a model I can't quite get my head around to be honest.QUOTE]

Maybe I can help:

Its got 450 NM of torque and 215 BHP and after filling to the brim I get 80 - 100 miles out of it before fuel gauge needle moves off the end stop

Seriously though, if you look at the engine model range, the Torque / BHP figures are almost a straight line across the range which allows people to choose something that best suits them.

Cheers for the comments chaps. Really happy with it and the body kit. Not too full on but gives it a slightly more aggressive stance

So you got your M-sport car on time despite the great M-sport brakes famiine?!

When did you order? what was your build date and delivery date estimates initally?

I was originally given build week 37, delivery week 39, now pushed back to Build week 41 and delivery week 44....

Ordered at the end of July and was built mid to late August apparently. Luckily no issues with the brakes and I can verify that with some hard braking to miss an object in the middle of the M25 on the way back from the dealer!

Anyone else find they're parking their cars far away from anyone else's to prevent dings and scratches?

Always park away from everyone else, however people are keen to park next to mine - twats.

That is exactly what I find Brigand. I could park in a shopping centre or supermarket carpark with nothing within 20 yards of me but I will come back and some total idiot will have parked a complete shed right beside me. Last week I came out of Asda to find a huge redneck pick up in the next space on my passenger side yet on the drivers side I counted 11 empty spaces in a row. Turned out the owner was just in front of me so I asked him if his car got lonely that he needed to park it so it had company!

Looks great! Have you got coral red interior too? Some better pictures would be nice but I expect you're too busy driving it haha

I find that instead off looking for a spot with empty spaces next to it, I instead look for spots at the end of a row, or with other "nice" cars next to it- hoping the owners will be as careful as I. Also there is also the chance the cars already parked will be there longer than I.

Yes I went for the coral red interior with brushed aluminium trim. It's a nice contrast and the m performance kit makes it look nice and aggressive. I've had a few people walk past and give it a thumbs up much to my surprise.

I'll take some more once it has been washed, I've put a couple of hundred miles on it so far.

In case anyone wanted some better pics of the car I took some today following a full wash/decon/clay and wax.

I'm really liking the m performance kit. Was worried the spoiler might look a bit too boy racer but it has grown on me.

The M performance parts I didnt go for were the the rear diffuser, mirrors, 20'' 405m's and the exhaust tips.

It was pictures of your car which I saw online that got me started on the road to the F31. You could say that your car inspired me so cheers! Although I'm not overly happy with you as I've now spent a few Łk more than I would have if I went with the Skoda octavia VRS estate I was planning on.

Just need to save up for those 20'' wheels

Ah! Well glad to have helped... BMW was the right choice.

One mod I recommend which makes a huge difference... order some wing mirror covers painted black (eg for a black f31).

Thanks for the comments guys.

I do find that parking the furthest place away from the front of the store and away from all other cars does have its health benefits I suppose! Problem is I keep looking back to make sure nobody parks next to it. If they do I find I stand there and watch them like a hawk lol

Mat - was considering the black wing mirrors. Still undecided
