M5 Reps on 2014 335i MSport
Need an opinion or two please.
Going to swap out stock wheels for 19" M5 reps. 8.5 upfront and 9.5 rear. What width tires would you go with? I don't want it to look to pimped out or have the rear tire beyond flush. I will not be lowering the car. Would you do 225/255 or 235/265? Thansk in advance for the help! |

In my opinion 235/265 will give a better looking tire profile on 8.5/9.5" wide rims. But that is a matter of individual taste!
Then also the ET measurements of the rims is needed to tell if the tires will fit in the wheel housings. |

A better fit up front would be a 245/35/19 which is within .8% of spec. 265/35/19 is a good fitment. |

I am running 235/35 front and 265/30 rear on a set of 19" M5 reps myself. My et is 35 front and 38 rear and they fit PERFECT!!

I wholeheartedly disagree with going with anything other than 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. There are several here on the forum that just look BAD with other tire sizes where the sidewalls are clearly too tall which makes the tires/sidewalls look bulky and the car actually sits higher off the ground than stock or too short and there is more gap in the fenders...see the example below, it just looks "off" with 245/40/19 up front and 275/35/19 on the rear. (98mm and 96.25mm sidewalls, respectively vs 90mm and 89.25mm stock) These M6 wheels are nice , but this tire configuration ruins the look for me.

Thanks for the replies and feedback!
Phish Do you have any profile pics and maybe one from the rear. Would love to see how wide the rear tire looks. Flush etc. Luke Is the AW on 8.5 upfront and 9.5 in the rear. Looks great just trying to better understand what I'm looking at. Thanks again guys |

I'd prefer that to the alternative which is 30 profile rears and shorter overall tires. |

FWIW, 245/35/19 front and 255/35/19 are perfect for 8.5" and 9.5" setup. They are as close to stock height as possible and they look fantastic.
