Yep, coded, seems to play pretty much everything you throw at it.

The only that doesnt work, copying from the stick to the internal Hard drive.

Wanted to try reformatting the stick to NTFS and see it that makes a difference.

I have installed my e-sys 3.22.5 yesterday. I have connected my 328i 2012 f30 to my laptop. I have opened E-sys and connected all successful.

Does anyone have a video on what to do next. I am not sure where to navigate to so I can turn off seat belt minder.

A video or a phone call will help.

Thanks

Aaron

Shawn,

Thanks or the step by step. It helped and worked sort of.

I am not able to get into ACSM modules. I can only connect to 1 of the 3 on my car.

I am guessing the 3000 Ausstatftungsflags are in a module I cannot connect to. (trying to turn seat belt minder off)

I get this message

I cannot connect to FEM BODY

similar message as above^^^^

I can connect to HU CIC and I was able to code the legal disclamer to be off.

I am not sure what I am missing.

Aaron

These 2 CAFD's were added in 50.2. You can try adding the two missing CAFD's into your existing PSdZData versions CAFD folder, but you most likely will need the full 50.2 or 50.3 PSdZData.

PM sent.

I coded my mirrors to fold with my key fob today. To fold my mirrors I have to hold the lock button down for a couple of seconds. Is there any way to have them fold with a press of the lock button instead of holding button down?

Thanks

Change Werte Value for KMFRT_SCHLIESSEN to 00.

On the F30 it's:

FEM_BODY / 3053 / KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN. As Shawn says, change the werte value. The default is 0F (15 in decimal) and the units are in 100ms, so the default is 1.5 seconds.

I set mine (and others) to 03 or 300ms. That way is only folds when I hold the button down for an extra heartbeat.

I've coded others to 00 for those that want the mirrors to fold every time they lock the car.

The PSdZData version used is not a matter of being better, rather it is solely a matter of necessity. Either you have a car that was programed with ISTA/P 2.50.3 and you NEED 50.3 PSdZData to read the ECU's and Code them, or you don't, in which case you DO NOT NEED it.

Using newer PSdZData on a car programmed with older ISTA/P version buys you nothing. The car will still only be capable of the features programmed into it from the older ISTA/P version, unless you are going to flash the ECU's with the new 50.3 firmware.

Hello Shawn,

May I have the links to the software also? Just ordered the cable.

Also I have a question. Does mirror folding require extra hardware or is that just a software setting? My car does not have mirror folding.

I am curious about what I can do with a standard screen(No NAV) and standard bluetooth. I cannot stream DVD over my screen now and I cannot connect iphone with a standard white iphone cable at the moment.

I can send bmwvin output if it helps.

You will have to post an email, or wait until you can receive PM's.

Mirror Folding requires hardware. The car must currently have Power Folding Mirrors from the Drive's Side Interior Door switch, and then you can make them also fold from Fob and Comfort Access.

With 6NH Basic Bluetooth, and no 609 NAV, hence no Combox, you won't be able to code much at all. Even with a Combox, you can only stream Audio, not Video.

Hi All- I was coding and for some reason when I'm using navigation, instead of showing directions in the HUD, it now shows below the speedometer. Anyone know how to fix this? 2012 F30. Thanks!
