SoCal Area F30 Free Coding Meet Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 @ 11:00am in Tustin
It's time for another meet, this time in OC. It will probably be the last meet of the year for me.
The meet will be Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 starting at 11:00am at our usual place in Tustin in the Best Buy parking lot. 2982 El Camino Real Tustin, CA 92782 https://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.721425,+-117.793981 We'll have at least 2 coders (maybe more) this time and I'll code cars until everyone's coded. Please post a message here if you plan on attending, and indicate if you want to code your car so I'll know how many cars will need to be done. Each car takes 20-30 minutes depending on how many features are coded. Whether you want coding or not, if you plan on attending, please RSVP here: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/cal...day=2014-11-22 I only have equipment to code F-Series cars. Also, this is primarily an F30 meet. If you have some other F-Series car and want coding, please read this post: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...6&postcount=44 If there are any other coders out there willing to help out, please chime in. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Below is the current coding list summary of the things that can be coded on F30's. For anyone that wants to update their navigation map, please PM me for details. Last edited by Frogman; 10-29-2014 at 07:47 PM.. |

I've been wanting to get my laptop setup for coding too. I have a OBD-II cable I bought but haven't configured the software yet. Perhaps someone could help me set it up on my laptop. I have a pretty new car build though. Not sure what software I should get for a late June build F33. The software the cable came with seems a few years out of date. Not sure it matters. Says V50 and I think I read about new versions like 52 or 53?

Hoping to try to find a way to Open and Close my hard top with the key fob. I know it was possible on the E93's with Comfort Access. I have Comfort Access on my F33 and I saw BMW demoing the Open / Close feature with the Key Fob at the Welt.
