I like this color! It was actually my first pick but we couldn't get it here in the US when I made my order.

Sparkling Bronze VS Havana / Mojave
I will soon order the BMW F31 Touring, and need to decide on a color.
I seem to like this color, but I am not really sure about it. It is really hard to find some decent pictures on the net. In Belgium, where I live, the BMW dealers don't have this color in stock.. I managed to see one, but the weather was really bad, so I did not really get a decent impression. Svache, you mentioned you initially opted for this color as well. I have seen the pictures of your car, and I must say it looks spectacular. In retrospect, now that you own a Havana f30, would you still prefer the Sparkling Bronze over Havana? Or are you really pleased that you finally got it in Havana? I think I will go for the color Havana, since I also really like this color.. I have seen it in real life, and I have seen quite a few very nice of pictures on the net.. What do you guys think? |

So, what do you do when you really like the look of Option 2NH (the ///M blue brakes) on the M Sport but can't get them because you (and your car) live in America? Well, you pay some money to a man (or potentially woman) at your local dealer's body shop and get them painted to match those on the M5. Enjoy!

Finally a bit of clear weather to take a few pics..
Only optioned the Adaptive suspension and specified black roof rails, all other options are standard for HK Sportline Convenience telephony Lights Package Fogs Parking Distance Black Gloss with Red Highlight Leather Dakota with Red Black Mirror Caps Xenons I have only driven a few Kilometers but First impression: Performance is good but have yet to really test. The ride is quite good in Comfort and can really feel the difference compared to Sport/Sport+ LOVE the sport seats as they really hold you in and is adjustable. Parking distance display is really nice, easy to see which side you are close to. And Compare to my previous car.. Steering is a lot lighter than my MKVI GTI in the parking garage which needs some taking use to. Seat position can also be set a lot lower. RWD!!! oh how I have missed RWD cars Bad Points? the Auto Stop Start... specially when I am at the gate of the parking garage and have not adjusted to the distance... quite embarrassing hearing the car restart to move a few inches. Also it resets when you change from Sport to Comfort? (need to figure that out) Car came with Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres... (the name says it all) No Rearview camera (standard on Golf GTI but HKD$6000 option +100% tax = aprox $1500 USD! ) No touch iDrive even though it is July Production (different on HK models) Started to rain so change to interior shot..... (you can see how heavy it was on the windscreen) |
