Fitment question

Will 17x7 et20 work with spacers on an m-sport? If so, what size front and back? Tire rack told me they won't clear the front rotors but I didn't ask if spacers would work. Trying to decide if I can salvage my old winter setup or if I need a complete new set.

OEM 17" wheels for 335, eg. style 394, has the following spec:
7.5x17", ET37, 225/50-17

A wheel with ET20 will increase axial clearance to the caliper.

7x17", ET 20 will fit very similar to OEM 8x18", ET34 on the outer side with increased inner clearance on the strut side. No spacers needed.

Regarding radial clearence for the rotors, OEM 17" will clear stock brakes but not M Sport Brakes or M Performance Brakes, since they have larger rotors and need 18" wheels.

But since your wheels are probably not OEM I recommend to test fit to be sure!

225/55-17 are 1" taller than OEM, but the speedometer tend to show a bit high speed stock so the speed might be spot on with a taller tire.

The rear will fit without problem, I'm not sure if the front will give clearance issues under full steering lock. I think it will be ok also up front since 225mm is a relatively narrow tire. Members on the forum are running oversized 245 tires up front without problems.

If possible check with your dealer if you can test mount a wheel from a 3 Series GT (F34). 225/55-17 are OEM size for F34.
