Powdercoating on a Leased car?

Took a lease on a 14' AW 435i M-Sport.

Yes the question has been asked a lot but now given that you can actually order your car with powdercoated black wheels, would doing it by myself (or at the dealer) be a problem the day I turn back the car?

If not, what are my alternatives? Is there anything better than plastidip? I wanted to the color to be gloss black and plastidip is really BAD quality.

My dealer's salesman says the same thing... I called a sandblaster that can do the job, they can apply any color for a very cheap price given that the tires are off. What's interesting is that they can restore the original gunmetal color if my dealer really ends up being a b*tch.

What other options do we have?

I'm pretty sure you can get away with it. My friend powdercoated his 435i which he leased and the dealer is totally fine with it.
