That makes me really reluctant to have the dealership do anything involving the windows or cabin exterior. It just confirms that nobody does the cabin weatherproofing like the OEM factory employees. There's only 1 way to do it right, and about 100 wrong ways.

Yes.
This is a lazy tech that just assumed he must use the regular glue for plastic parts instead of looking up the procedure on their very expensive dealer system that would of told him to use window cement instead.

Saved himself 2min, but did the job wrong and damaged the car.
