How about a sticker to make it m435? J/k

Congrats on the new car.

I think the power kit and performance exhaust are pretty safe starting points.

congrats on the car! definitely consider an exhaust, really wakes the car up (a bit or a lot, depending on what exhaust you go for). little touches are also pretty great like having the roof wrapped black or a pair carbon fiber mirrors etc

You could start by welding the two rear doors shut and making it a proper coupe. Of course, just kidding. The 4gc is a beautiful car just the way it is. Any tasteful mods you do will even make it look better and run faster.

Good luck with your new car.

im looking to make the car really loud but not raspy, more of a deep sound. i was thinking primary cat delete, take out the resonator, and add new mufflers.

Good luck with your first smog check in Calif running that setup...(cat delete..don't think they give a crap about the resonator or the muffler.) Keep the stock parts on hand so you can make it pass later.

Cracked me up. Know a good welder? . I was looking at the Coupe version..and I don't know how anyone climbs in the back..lol...unless you're under the age of 10....it's pretty cramped back there. Gorgeous car though...as long as it's just 2 of you (at most.)

It depends on the power goals you are aiming for.
If you plan on keeping your car stock get a JB stage 1.
If you want to go FBO, get a JB4, Catless Downpipes, Charge pipe and upgraded intercooler.

You need a stage 1 tune to make this car exciting. Without it it's too smooth and super boring. The hatch is heavy and really hits performance.

Best axle back options in my opinion are the Active Autowerke and Remus.
Again it will depend on how loud you want your exhaust to be.

Active Autowerke

Remus

You say you do not want raspy sound then you say you want to do muffler delete.
I wound not do something like this unless i heard a car with a muffler delete in person and drove it. The sound is too loud and annoying for 90% of BMW owners.

i was thinking more of a primary cat delete so that way i can tune it along with maybe taking off my resonator or secondary cat. good? bad? muffler deletes to me is boring, i want to make the car exciting.

It is a personal preference, i personally would just get a system that is built for my car as is.

So what you want is no performance gains, but aesthetic properties, like spoilers, speed-holes, etc?

Axle-back exhausts do nothing for performance, especially in a turbo engine. Opening up the DP and deleting the cats does.
