Thanks for the feedback.

Yes I agree those residuals seem very low. I thought BMW typically had higher residuals, making cheaper monthly payments. Maybe back in March the residuals were higher.
I have always taken 2 year leases, I like switching cars every 2 years.
I was thinking about waiting to see what the August programs were like. If not, the 911 has some great offers right now. At the prices I'm being quoted for the 335, the 911 is only about 100 more per month.

They killed residual with the 2014's coming out and the 2013's are still finishing up production and need to be sold off. You can get a great deal on a 2013 right now. The 3 points I lost on the residual costed me about $12 a month and only thing that helped me is getting the car for invoice.

Even the 2013 deal they were giving me was not so impressive.
MSRP 56K, reduced to 51K, 24mths/15K miles, MF .00127, RV 65, monthly payments were mid-high $700s, no money down

The same car back in March was roughly $650 month, with the same terms.

Using your numbers for the 2013 I arrived at a monthly payment of $720, but that does not include any cash down beyond the $1500 incentives and anything due at signing.

You could get to about $600 by putting down about $2500 at signing in addition to the signing fees.

Thanks for the help.

Was 720 a month based on a price of 51K?
Because the price reduction from 56 to 51K included any programs/incentives I think.

Maybe I will just put down some money up front.

Do you think I could get some better numbers for the 2013 since it's end of production?

2013's would be better deals right now since dealers want to sell them with the 2014's coming in.

Correct.

And this movement will likely remain in effect until at least 9/1, likely 10/1 as 2013's will still be on the lots for a while as 2013 inventory is still being shipped from overseas.

That selling price should be fair, seems to be in the range of $300-800 over invoice.

Didn't realize you had already included the incentives.

Your MF is good, and residual can't be touched.

Here's the breakout, I just netted the incentives into selling price:

Also, I would verify your residual figure. That looks like a 3 year not a 2 year ...

How much per month did the Porsche dealer quote for the 911?

Thanks again for the help.
Yes, maybe my residual was wrong. I got two numbers, I thought the CA told me 63 and 65, one was for the 2014 and the other for the 2013.
I think back in March the incentives got my MSRP down to maybe 49?
Not sure, but either way I think that monthly payment is way too high for a 335
What bothers me most is knowing those numbers were so much lower few months ago, and that so many of my friends got their f30 with those lower numbers!

Ohh, 0 down (no fees) because it's your second lease.

Now I understand.

Your RV is still way off. That is a 36 month RV for sure. Get a 24 month one!

2014 was killed down, so that seems correct for a 10K lease for 36 months. You need 10K lease for 24 months figure, unless you are changing to 36 months?

If you change the term of the calculation to 36 months, the payment arrives around $550.

July incentives are better than March for 2013's by far I'm pretty sure. The $1000 build out credit is new to July, and the loyalty went down $250 but the net increase still trumps anything I can recall from March. To get to a selling price of 49K, you would have needed over 3K in incentives, which doesn't seem realistic.

So, my 24 months RV should be much higher? Roughly what should it be?

I've never really worked with residuals for 24 month leases.

My guess is the ballpark of 73 - 77%? That's just an educated guess though.

Glad to hear those numbers. I could have sworn that I was getting quotes of 75% for the RV on a 2 year back in March.
I'm going to call the CA I was talking with to confirm if he really meant 63-65 on a 2 year.

On an upnote, I was just discussing 2013 335s with another local agent and have been getting some great numbers.
Won't give the details until I confirm tomorrow, but it's looking good!

I saw you posted in your own other thread but I'll post here ...

I would go to bmwconfig and make sure the selling price is $500 over invoice, before even considering the incentives. I never trust the dealer. By estimation, it looks to be in that ballpark.

Which incentives are you getting? Build out (1000) and loyalty (500)? These must already be netted into the net capitalized cost, but make sure you find out from your dealer all the incentives you are getting.

Your money factor sucks, I would aim for .00127 (3.05% APR), which is the base rate for July, versus the .0015 (3.60% APR) you are getting now.

Also, you need to figure out what the fee structure is. I was able to "back into" this amount by using the other info, and it looks to be about $3000 for total due at signing including taxes. Is this accurate? They should provide you with total due at signing.

Looks like I'm only getting a 500 rebate? No loyalty because I'm not financed under BMW financial on my current BMW... BMW config comes out to 49820 for invoice. My first time leasing.. Don't understand it all

BMW does have a MF adder for 1st time leasee's but you can get 'rid' of it if you make a security deposit. So that would get you the 0.00127 MF rate assuming you qualify credit-wise.

Also, advise you to not put 4000 down, better to make multiple security deposits.

I sent you a PM.

I believe the Loyalty credit applies if you are a titled BMW owner. Provide them proof insurance and you should be fine. In other words your current loan doesn't have to be with BMW FS only your new loan.

Rebate? For what?

$500 loyalty for July should apply if you own a current BMW, period. I had an older E46 that I bought from a private party and got this.

I still think you can argue for lower MF/finance rate, but the difference here might be negligible.

Also, don't put down 4K as said above.
