OFFICIAL (F30) Mobile Phone Photo Thread

So everyone has a mobile phone and the best camera is the camera you have with you. So let's start an official mobile phone photo thread. Post pics here of your favorite photo subject - your F30! You must caption your photos no matter how simple or lame. Have fun with it and post often!

I'll start. iPhone 5.

"Fillin ur up at sunset."

Omg, best wheels ever
well I post processed about 3 of those photos in lightroom 5...the rest I edited on my phone after the photo is taken and saved.

well I never take just one photo...I take the same shot in different modes...start out with auto with no flash...then I do auto again but click the little arrow on the left side in middle of screen to bring up the effects/filters(black and white and vintage are nice), I usually use most of them except the last 4 or 5 like cartoon, moody, rugged, oil and fisheye I don't use...then HDR I really like on the GS4 but soon as you hit the capture button hold still for like 2-3 seconds until the processing bar goes away for best results. I use night mode sometimes its pretty decent again u have to stay still when you push the button, that one will blur easier then HDR I noticed.

then once your done shooting pick your best ones then go to gallery and open one up and hit the menu button(left of the phone) and click edit(top option in the pop up menu, this is where you can do a lot. Then just use the slider bar at the bottom(mainly use the color option and effect option which you have to scroll to the right to see bc there are more. I only use crop color and effect option. When you click color button then say you choose contrast for example. An adjustable slider bar comes up and when you move it to the right contrast gets darker then to left it gets lighter. If you choose Adjust RGB you will get 3 adjustable sliders one for Red, Green and Blue all can be adjusted lighter or darker.

So play around with all that, really makes nice photos right on the spot.

Enjoy!!

Thanks! I always thought that those effects were useless and didn't bother trying them out. I will definitely give it a try now. I also didn't know that there was an HDR mode lol. But the phone is quite new in my defense.. One thing that I managed to figure out is the animated photo mode. It is soooo cool the way that you can animate any part of a photo. The customization in that mode is pretty cool. I'm sure you figured this out already though.

Def take several pictures from the same spot and just keep changing those settings. You will be very impressed with them. The HDR is a great mode on the gs4!! The animation is very cool, only used it once on a water fountain in new York city and really liked it actually. Also the panorama mode is very good but you have to move slow n steady once u push the button. I posted one but you can see I messed it up half way through you can see the frames, maybe I went to quick at that point, either way I still liked the photo.

Yeah I've never perfected the panorama mode too. Oh I didn't comment on the content of your pictures...your car! It looks amazing, especially in those last two!

You just need a nice scenic area that you want to capture in shot...like sunset, mountains, beach...that's what I use it for really.

Thanks a lot!!. I like those last 2 also bc it was an industrial type setting so I wanted the vintage black and white feel but added a few twists. Those last 2 I edited on my phone then ran them in adobe lightroom for the added clarity and tones and what not.

I don't use point and shoot cameras anymore, I always used to have sony cameras but since the galaxy 3 I just my phone for everyday photos and my Digital SLR canon T5i for photo shoots.
