Quad Exhaust installation 335D

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread but I couldnt find a specific thread about the 335D engine. Mods please feel free to move accordingly.

Anyway, today has been a good day. I have had the twin exit pipes which were on the left of the car from factory removed, the rear diffuser modified and quad exit pipes installed. I have also de-badged the rear and I think both mods look great and truly give the car much more stance and reflects the performance of the car.

Let me know what you think

I thought about a single exit either side but the existing diffuser cut out on the left hand side would be too large for a single exit. I didn't want the expense of buying a new diffuser which would suit a single exit so opted for the quads.

Either way it looks much better than the twin on the left hand side in my opinion.

Looks good, should have came from factory with at least dual exhausts imo like the e-series 335d...

Exactly.. Can't understand why they don't. The 340 has the dual exhausts. It needs something to make it stand out as the top diesel model like the 340 is the top petrol model (M cars aside obviously)

This is the look I'm going for.. just picked up 335i xdrive. Wondering if I can get this done without voiding warranty.. maybe by adding m performance exhaust and making it quads. How did you get the wider quads? On my rear bottom trim the way its cut the extra tips would be to the inside, not the outside if you know what I mean

The quads are basically the same place as the twin exit is. We just measured exactly and mirrored on the rear diffuser to create a new cut out. The problem is the battery box so the exits on the right hand side have to be modified to allow for the battery if that makes sense. Pics below should help.

Thanks, it is a custom powerflow exhaust, manufactured and installed by a local specialist. I have had them sort exhausts on a few previous cars and they have always done a great job.
