The waiting game | build status codes

So my weekly conversation with Genius keeps coming back with status 1100 Scheduled for build in Week 40 commencing 2nd October.

I was just wondering what people's experiences are as to when the step to 1200 Scheduled for Production occurs.

As you can tell, I do think about it a lot!

Can't answer your question but am having a car built in the same week

Have contacted the Genius once just for confirmation. I guess it will be scheduled for production a couple of weeks out? Happy waiting

Normally moves from 1100 Scheduled to 1200 Scheduled for production about 2 weeks before the build week start.

Next move with be;

5000 Confirmed for Production
5050 Chassis Number Allocated
5055 Confirmed by Production Control

Those 3 will happen approx a week before build starts (Status 5100) and normally all happen within a day.

From 5100 Bodyshop Start to 5500 Assembly Complete is only 2 days so you will need to hassle the genius every hour at this time

Exciting times anyway

God knows where mine is up to, been so busy with work not been in touch with the dealership for the VIN to track.

However I do know the car is scheduled to arrive at the dealership WK41

I'm in cumbria. Been waiting patiently since I placed my order mid June, but now it's getting difficult! The gaps between chasing the geniuses are getting closer together....
Can't believe the lack of pictures on here of new cars - dying to see what my f30 shadow edition in mineral grey is going to look like

I know the feeling, I'm just thankful I'm super busy with work from next week until collection date.

It's been crazy trying to get both cars prepared and ready for return, sticking the 320d badges back on next week

Scraped my driver side front alloy this morning in a French car park designed by a madman, after nearly three years ownership without a blemish - I still feel sick about it hours later. Won't be getting it fixed though as I've already done the part ex deal

Managed to get time to ask Genius today - I've also moved to 1200 Scheduled for Production in Week 40.

Genius says my expected week is week 43 - not sure if this is expected to arrive at the dealer or expected to have a key in my hand. We can but hope.

You just need your official order number - 7 digits - and then just ask Genius what the build status is.

w/c 16th October is Week 42.

My car has been ordered through my Company's fleet (Arval) and the only order number I could get is not recognised (1 letter, 6 numerals) - any ideas?

I ordered way back in May and I'm getting impatient.

Checked the progress with Genius,

Currently at 1200 scheduled for production
Production WK 39
Expected WK 42 (week delay compared to what dealership told me)

Bloody typical, need to rearrange detailer and swap work around.
