Special Order Question: Color

While I was talking to a BMW rep at an Un4Getable event last week, he mentioned that I could order a 435i convertible in Le Mans Blue, a color not on the BMW configurator. My dealer said this couldn't be done.

Can anyone add any clarity here? I have a 2012 335is coming off lease in April, 2015, and I'd love to order a new 2015 435i in Le Mans Blue, if I could.

BMW Individual can maybe do that for you. I believe they charge around $6000 for a custom color. To be hones the Estoril blue is so close that is may not be worth the price difference. But I understand why you want it, that Le Mans Blue is incredible.

It can probably be done. They have to put in for a special order and BMW will say yes or no and how much it will cost plus extra time to do it

estoril is a lighter version of LMB....honestly if you're not that strung on getting LMB, get estoril and save yourself some $$

I have ordered custom colors in the past and pay $2k up charge for them. I plan on ordering my M4 convertible in a custom color next year.

Anything is possible with money...

The dealer was just testing you to see how serious you were, but more importantly, how much they can milk you out of your desire...
