I see that you Americans love the red leather, but here in Scandinavia you would be laughed at if you showed up with that

My car is due in 3 weeks time, and its a good Scandinavian build with diesel engine and nothing as outstandish as a red interior

I'd have gotten it in red as well if I'd have gone for AW.
My previous car had brown/dark orange interior

Consider painted front reflectors, gets rid of the orange, cleans that front right up.

Nothing screams excitement like beige on beige and a diesel engine.

I prefer GC too but in my city only a few people bought GC, most of the 4 series owners bought coupe

It was the contrast between white/coral, versus the half-timbered orange that drove me to comment! It is sort of Bavarian, though...

I've always liked white BMWs, ever since the original E21 Alpina.
