hmmmmm. 355-360bhp. Closer to C450 AMG, Jag XE and Audi S4 numbers now. But how much will this make the 340i? (MSRP)

p.s. Audi made it official: they are idiots like Jag and Merc = manual being axed for the S4. LONG LIVE MANUALS IN BIMMERS!

Seriously, the "price available on request" makes me nervous. Also, my German is pretty much non-existent, but did they combine the MPE and MPPK?

Not sure if it's combined as it mentions sound rather than exhaust. Wondering if the MPPK now comes with one of those exhausts with a speaker in like they've just announced for diesels.

Thanks for the info. I saw the word sound in google translate and coupled with the image of the exhaust component and it got me wondering.

I can help with the German

Yes, it seems that the new Kit is available only with the performance exhaust. This is being discussed in German message boards too. People over there expect that it will be possible to have the PPSK fitted without the exhaust, but this is speculation.

The text mentions only one package.

The E92 update revised the fenders and hood, they could have justified the expense for the tooling for the E92, but the M has a different hood and they probably did not want to spend the dough for such a low volume car.

I don't understand their reasoning now as the front is so much more modular now...

Anybody knows why you can't mix some wheels options with Track Handling Package?

like you can't have the "19 star-spoke 403M wheels" with the Track Handling Package...
or you can't have the Active Cruise Control with 19 inch wheels?

using F30 configurator on bmwusa.com I mean...

Little confused: On the 328, are led daytime running lights standard now as if you have the lighting package on the pre-LCI? If so, then the headlights would still be regular halogen unless you get the lighting package, correct? Thanks.

In case you didn't already get your answer, on the LCI 328 (and now 330), halogen is standard. At the bottom of the housing, there's led lamps that act as daytime running lights. They are not the rings as in the pre-lci lighting pkg. Opting for the lighting pkg gets you the led headlights but also requires purchasing the premium pkg.

Hi - new to the group.
I have a 3 Series 2012 320d ED - just found out that there are no lights in the second circle. They are Xenons btw. Is there a way to fit Xenons in the space? If so what kit do I need? Thanks

Old question, but you can, you just can't have active cruise control + track handling package (which is required for the 442m wheels).

Active cruise control adds a radar sensor to the lower grille. The track handling package has a different front fascia, and I'm guessing the radar sensor doesn't fit that fascia.

As for why the wheel choices are limited - market segmentation and simplified supply chain are really the only reasons... and I'd lean toward the former instead of the latter, if I had to guess. Same as the paint color choices.

I don't believe that's true. I've seen an M Sport 340i with Track Package (grey ferric 18" wheels, correct?) with Adaptive Cruise.

From the 2017 order guide:
5DF Active Cruise Control

5DF Cannot be ordered with ZMP and ZTR

There you go - it's specifically the combo of ZMP and ZTR that removes adaptive cruise (Or ZMT, but we knew that.)

What is the LCI part of the F30 name? Just picked up an F30, but not aware of this LCI thing.
