What do you like best about the GT?
Could we list the things that we "like" about your GT.
1. I like the look of the vehicle 2. I like the room at the rear even though I spend all my time in the front 3. I do get a kick out of the fact that this is BMW's first car with an active spoiler. 4. I like the size of the car as it is much lager than a 3 series. 5. I like the fact that it has bits from other BMW vehicles such as the X series, 3 series and 4 series. 6. I like the much larger grill on the front. 7. I like the versatility of the GT 8. I love driving this car on the motorway it just eats up the miles What do you guys like and your GT?

Exactly as above, 1 to 8 inclusive.
Plus - As I get a wee bit older (it happens to all of us eventually), it is significantly easier to get in and out of. Especially when compared to my last but one car, a 325 E92 coupe.

I like the slightly larger tire profile as it definitely saves from potential rim scrapes compared to all the other sedans. Also the uniqueness of the model.

- I like the new iDrive system. I use the handwriting recognition for character entry and look for places via online search (I also use voice search fairly regularly). It returns surprisingly accurate results due to integration with Google search, and I just love looking for places on the go and click, click, click and navigate.
- I like the engine's start/stop system and use it regularly as well. It does not bother me and also works very smoothly. In fact I get a kick out of being in a completely still car on the stop lights. - I like the smooth bluetooth integration. My nokia announces all text messages via car's speakers and I often reply to text messages while driving without taking my phone out of pocket. All voice activated. Also use bluetooth to stream pandora/spotify music from my phone through car's speakers. And speaking of that, I absolutely like the Harmon Kardon music system. It is the best I've had compared to all previous cars. The radio is also crystal clear and the sound fills up the car beautifully. |

Mine aren't particulary different from Rapid64k's but here are the main
things I love about mine. Listed in no particular order. - I love the uniqueness of it. It's an interesting take on a proven concept - Despite it's ride height and longer wheelbase it still tears through any backroads like a proper BMW - Even without the M-sport package it has more presence than a normal 3er - You pay 3-series money for touching on 7 series legroom - Being quite tall it's one of a handful of cars that aren't SUV's I fit in comfortably - Granted it's not super rare of a car in Sweden it's still nice to drive something that's a bit more "exclusive" than your average company-lease-3 series - Even a young gun like myself cannot ignore the practicality. Despite traditional wagons being a tad easier to work with cause they lack the sloping hatch. Regardless of the occasional armchair-bmw-enthusiast disapproval I still maintain that it's a wonderful vehicle. Very similar to an E39 in many regards. We'll see what the future has in store but for now I enjoy being a GT owner!

I like negotiating for a deal on my future GT, which should be complete within 12 hours...will update how I feel about the car ASAP
NO HK Sound option in Thailand, NO built in SIM card option for online searches available in Thailand. Will be looking to add the Built in SIM option if possible in the future. |

* I love the comfort of the ride.
* Sh*t load of cargo space. (Made apartment moving from one place to another easier) * Rear legroom is amazing. Always get a lot of compliments and has more legroom space than a 5 series sedan (not 5GT). * Sport mode turns this baby into a little beast. * 328xi (4 cylinder) makes it great on gas especially in Eco-mode for long drives. * I've been through a lot of snow storms (New York City) and this baby handled it well. Ride height allowed me to drive over inches of snow and the xDrive kept me in control most of the time.

Funny you that you mentioned the load space, the other day I removed the rear selves and dropped the rear seats and man the space at the back was humongous!!!
You don't really notice it.

Yes that's a good feature and not an after thought.

1) huge boot space and rear legroom compared to bigger car (5 series) but handles better and still carries a younger image (at least in my country)
2) unique and rare (though seeing more of f34 recently) but have yet to see another EBII f34 in my country 3) shape 4) active rear spoiler 5) frameless door (reminds me of the Impreza that I had many years ago) |

I like fastback design. My other car is a C class coupe w203 which a lot of MB fans also disapprove the style.
Rear legroom. Installed a rear facing carsear without needing to move the front seat even half an inch just put smile on my face. Multiple back seat reclining position very helpful when loading boxes and luggage. But seriously 15 positions is plain fancy. Spoiler - just love seeing it deploy and retract, LOL There are too many 3 and X3 in my area... I want a unique ride. Park assist!!! Yes laugh at me but it is a lifesaver on a long car. |

All of the above. I'm especially going to miss the higher seats for entry/exit and the extra length. Hopefully it'll be back on the list when the next change comes around in 18 months!!
