I think this render is close but it missed out on a lot of things from spy shots. First of all the headlights are not as squashed and have much higher profile. Check the latest spy shots of that white 335i there is a close up of left headlight where you clearly can see the profile. Also the hood profile is too low where in spy shots you can clearly see it higher from half to the top end. Its a good attempt but couple of mm of adjusment would make this car look less squashed and more f10 look a like.

here is my attempt at showing you what I am talking about the lights beeing too thin. I followed the contour closely when I did this and you can see the difference.

i agree with you, i'll make my final judgement when i see the final product, however i have a feeling that it's going to be a very good loking thing

The auto industry is becoming increasingly competitive. Bland should not be an acceptable standard in today's world. I don't see Mercedes Benz or Audi resting on their laurels.

...It's just a render, and not a particularly great one at that.

Fuel filler door now on left side???? Shown on both the render and on at least one spy shot in camo that I saw. Quick, when was the last time any BMW had the fuel filler on the left side? Not a huge biggee, but another difference as we move to out-Toyota, Toyota.

The images were flipped. Fuel door remains in their traditional spot - on the passenger's side.
