RDC_SAFETY

I configured RDC_SAFETY on my HU_NBT to "aktiv". Where do I get to see the TPMS readings? I have checked under Vehicle Status and I see nothing other than TPM active.

Is there another TPMS display in iDrive?

I have a F36 (435xi).

Also, DIM_NACHT_EIN, werte=FF does nothing to KOMBI color (stays orange). Any other way to make the KOMBI orange to change to White (permanently) ?

Thanks in advance.

I cannot find that option in my car specs. But it does have TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor). Is that different than TPC?

Is there a way to find out what options exist on my car via E-Sys?

All your Vehicle Option Codes are listed in FA, which you can read with E-Sys, but if 2VB isn't listed when you decode your VIN, then it won't be in FA either.

If you do not have S2VBA, you will have FTMS.

2VB is TPMS, which is Tire Pressure Monitoring System, aka Reifen Druck Control (RDC) and FTMS is Flat Tire Monitor System, aka Reifen Pannen Anzeige (RPA). FTMS operates on tire rotational speed and has no actual sensors to measure pressure and temperature like TPMS does.

Thanks Shawn. This is valuable info. Now that I think of it, I prefer FTMS, as I will not need to install TPMS sensors in my winter tires

Looking for a little advice. I have a 328i RWD F30 Dinan software, Dinan exhaust, stage 2 cold air intake and Wagner intercooler. I can add up the horsepower and torque but when on sports display it won't go past stock 240hp. My Bmw dealership and Dinan at the dealership told me the hp is around 330hp but my sports display won't go past 240hp so I was told that it would be something that would need to be coded/ programmed. That way when the system reads from the computer it translates to the accurate numbers not the stock #'s Can anyone point me in the right direction as where to look/read or what to do? or how to fix it. I was told that you can pay someone to do coding and other things but I'm looking for some guidance first before I start spending cash. Oh, I was also told by someone that you can install a slightly bigger turbo but from everything I know that would open a can of worms with injectors and fuel/ air mix, but I was interested in knowing what anyone else knew about the subjects. Thanks joe

Shawn, sorry to trouble you with this but I've just collected my new F31

I've dowloaded latest PSZDate files and the launcher. I connect to the OBD port and started up Esys, F31 is selected in the launcher box. Once Esys is open I click on connect to car and the dropdown box doesn't list F31 as an option - do I select Target Selector F020 (non direct as I did before with previous PSZDate version ?) before selecting connect by VIN ?

Cheers

Be sure to follow this Note:

* NOTE: E-Sys Launcher Car Series MUST be set to exactly match the car's chassis type you are coding (e.g. F01, F06, F07, F10, F12, F15, F25, F30, F82, F83, etc.). If after install it defaults to F999 and it cannot be changed, change PC Date ahead 4 days, then change E-Sys Launcher Car Series, then change PC Date back to current date. DO NOT create .EST Token and PIN with PC Date advanced 4 days as the Validity Start Date for the token will be 4 days in the future.
