Anyone have real world mpg numbers to share?
Does it take to mods as friendly as a normal 335?

I'm sure the engine management software is different from a standard N55, so I'd be hesitant to let anyone outside of BMW go near it.

I personally expect 40mpg, combined.

not exact numbers to share but i got this from different thread..hope this helps!

to get the exact numbers, contact Jeff on my original post.

Sport, or M-sport?

Mileage seems kinda low?

Any other impressions since you've lived with it for a while?

Exactly what is to be expected. AH3 is not trying to mimic a Toyota Prius.

I had a 328i F30 Loaner for 3 days and just returned it today. Reset the trip computer and after 3 days of combined driving I got 27MPG. And thats with what I'm sure was 87 octane. No one in their right mind puts 93 in a loaner. Not shabby.

How loud are the battery cooling fans in the trunk? Or maybe I should ask again during the heat of summer?

And, does the AH3 Sport come with same sport suspension setup as gas only models? If you order DHP does it come with the same Adaptive M Suspension as on the conventional gas cars? many have wondered...

Little to no noise, the auto start/stop is unnoticeable, The handling on the sport is amazing, blew the doors off a stock M3.

I am boosting it soon too lol

Anyone figured out yet if the AH3 gets the lowered ride height when ordered Sport or MSport with DHP? I tried to figure out using new realoem.com update but haven't yet had time to drill down and compare.

I ordered M-sport with DHP, I assume the ride height is lowered like the standard cars.

Have you compared suspension parts on realoem?

I have not. I tried to, at one point, but couldn't find the parts on that site specific to the AH3. Can you check it out?

Sure. I think I went a little overboard here. I could find anything definitive. Plus, I think where some items were simply not listed, it could be that realoem.com doesn't have the correct and full info.

Front spring supports - Looks like cars with Adaptive M Suspension are setup similar. AH3 Sport models without Adaptive M seem to have same #5 as non Sport F30's.
F30 Hybrid http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...50&hg=31&fg=10
F30 335i http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...50&hg=31&fg=10

Rear Spring components do not show a different Part #4 for cars with MSport suspension. Interesting is that the only shock shown for the AH3 is the Sport shock.
F30 Hybrid http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...74&hg=33&fg=45
F30 335i http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...74&hg=33&fg=45

Something oddly interesting is the rear end output shaft (to wheels) is 5mm narrower in diameter on the AH3 than the 335i. I would think it should be thicker with the additional HP.
F30 Hybrid http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...32&hg=33&fg=25
F30 335i http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...32&hg=33&fg=25

Also interesting is the AH3 shows a 12MM stablizer bar only. Could be that Sport parts are simply missing from list???
F30 Hybrid http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...12&hg=33&fg=45
F30 335i http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...12&hg=33&fg=45

Also interesting is the transmission used in the AH3 was modified for production starting 11/2012.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...41&hg=24&fg=05

AH3 LiOn Battery modifications.......Were there any AH3 cars manufactured prior to 7/2012? Check out the "Important" note. eek!
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...01&hg=61&fg=30

Also "Electric Motor Electronics" were modified beginning 11/2012 production
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...55&hg=12&fg=10

That's all I uncovered. No more time to sleuth.

Wow! Nice work.

Not sure about the smaller output shaft, maybe it needs more clearance for something? Although 5mm is not much

There weren't any AH manufactured prior to July 2012, to my knowledge. There were some AH5 cars before then, so maybe they used the same battery at some point very early on, and now BMW wants to make sure you only but that newer one in the AH3? Who knows.

I would have never guessed there would be a transmission change this early on. Sure were a lot of changes for 11/12 cars... steering, motor electronics, transmission, etc. Makes me glad I waited
