F30 Sport line - black mirrors or body colour mirrors
Hi guys ,
My dealer emailed me and I need to firm up my order soon to get a production slot for a 2013 f30. I'm pretty set on my options. Getting a Mineral Grey sportline 328i. I need to decide on the mirror option - go with the black sport line mirrors or stay with body colour. I'm leaning towards the black mirrors but need to see more pictures of them on Mineral Grey. Can those who have a Mineral Grey Sport line post pics of their cars to help me decide? What's everyone's opinion on black mirrors on Mineral Grey? |

I am in the US so we always get the black mirror when we order Sports Line. I requested for the body-colored mirror but they rejected it. My order is MW.

Funny fact. None of the people that have talked to me about my F30 even noticed it's a new body design. However, 2 of those people complimented on how good the black mirrors look on my white car... including the tint guy. Go figure.
That being said, for Mineral Grey I'd rather have body color mirrors. |

Get the body colored caps. I know this is subjective but The black mirror caps looks awful with mineral grey.I tried my best to convince myself that the black caps looks good, however it just does'nt flow and looks out of place.I finally decided it's time to cough up $250+ by ordering primed mirror caps and get it painted just to get rid of the black

In Canada, the black mirrors are a no charge option on sport line.
Wow , it's split down the middle! My CA feels the black mirrors flow with the glossy black shadow line and B pillars and makes the car more aggressive. I'm still undecided! Anyone else care to chime in and post more pics of mineral grey and black mirrors? Thanks! |
