Driving a loaner f30 is not the same as owning one.

It's an exact repeat of history when the e90 replaced the e46. I still remember back then when all the owners of the e46 bashed the e90 saying it looked like a boat and obviously complained that it was INFERIOR and rather keep the e46 and when it comes due they will go look elsewhere.

You are right driving a loaner is not the same ... At least u can return it and not have to convince yourself you paid for something that has some cheap parts in it...
Instead of just talking in the air post photos of the parts above and show us how nicely finished they are in your superior f30...

The issue is when you own something and paid a lot for it you don't want to admit its not good... Typical of people who want to convince themselves they have something better than others... Without being objective.

E70>E90 built quality

Once you see it from this perspective it's easy to understand that there is nothing superior about the E90s build quality vs the F30.

Maybe get the ATS since E46 is just as good

Had one of these for a week no m sport but it was good. The 8speed trans with added electric torque made it move pretty good. Got over 26 pure city driving average.

Yes E70 build quality is better than E90... No one said the contrary.

We are comparing two generations of 3 series here... And E90>F30 build quality period. So stop trolling and comparing apple and oranges

And if you compare things that are comparable the new 5 has better build quality than E60. And that's what should have happened to the 3.. Unfortunately BMW made cheap decisions to increase profit instead of improving the quality .. And that will cost them on the long run... Build quality is very important and that's something Audi understood years ago... And in a few decade they manage to build a luxury brand and it would not have been possible without putting quality first .

Actually all new generation 1,5,6,7,X3,X5, and Z4 all improved in build quality .. The 3 is the only one going downhill... And that's the bread and butter of BMW.. So they will make some savings short term but when people start realising and turn to the competition lets see what happens...

Thats really easy to remove with a blow dryer, some goo-gone and then a coat of wax... The first thing I do to any new (or new to me) vehicle is remove all badging (except for the roundel's of course)...

100000000++++ I could not have said it better myself. Evey BMW HAS GONE UP IN BUILD QUALITY except the F30. I cannot believe the improvements in the f10 to the e60 5 series. I have a friend who loves his e60 M5 and when I saw the new one I was like poor guy, and when the f30 came out I went to the dealership to trade my 2012 335IS for an f30 335i m-sport and when I saw how plasticy the interior was and how it drove, I was sadly disappointed.
