I'm in Northeast Ohio, and I've had my F30 since June. I JUST saw my first one anywhere other than the dealership last week. This week I saw another one, so that makes only two in total, heh.

90% of the time so far that the F30 has been for sale, it's only been the RWD models.

Here in NJ, 90% of the E9x's I pass have the Xdrive badge on the side.

So last week I was in Florida...boom...saw 1-3 F30's a day every day. Much more than I had been seeing in the tri-state area.

Now that the X-drive leases have hit dealers, the F30 is going to up it's presence big time.

Like cardsdoc said, I'm in Cleveland, in an area where BMWs are everywhere, and I've seen exactly 2.

So, that's where all the cars are, I'm envisioning flocks of f30s down there, haha.

Oh, man that sucks but it's the sad truth here in the tri-state area , I bust out the "parking armor" every time I drive outside (can't do the bumper bully/badger, no padding). I know it looks like a diaper on the rear end but it's necessary against "parking rash".

Definitely like the feeling, people never really know what kind of car it is other than a BMW. The originality factor is

I picked up my EBII 335 on Saturday. On Monday I saw my 1st other MSport on the way to work. The funny thing is was another EBII 335.

I still see tons of LCI E90s on the road. Maybe once their leases are up will we see more F30s.

no, usually im on lake shore drive at nite, couple days ago i hit this pot hole going 55 on the lake shore drive , it was loud and i honestly thought I broke the rim, luckily nothing happened, so if anyone here is worried that 19s are not good for every day drive they are wrong, my friend has 09 328 with 17s and my car is much more comfortable to drive

The 335 I saw was quite similar to yours but I didn't notice the wheels though.

What tires are you using on those 19 wheels?

I don't see many F30s in NYC.

Spotted a few no lines and modern lines. Haven't seen a sport line.
I feel like I'm the only M sport line in town (for now). lol

My cousin and I bought 2010 A4s when they came out. I was 28 then and he was 25 or so and we're what you'd consider the white collar entry level BMW / Audi / Mercedes demographic income wise. (another friend bought a 2011 A5 even though we both said something along the lines of, i know this could be horribly unreliable, but its so pretty when we bought our cars)

Gotta say at the time, the styling looked nicer than the e90. The e90 just didn't look that great, i dont know it looked kind of squat and badly proportioned. that and I will admit the whole LED lighting thing was cool then. That and my mom and several of my friends had e90s. Yes I didn't want to get the same car as my mom.

That said, both our 2010 A4s had the oil burning issue, mine had a cat fail, had the injectors fail, etc. Sold mine to get an F30 and thus far I'm glad I changed (now if BMW could just fix the rust issue....)

That said, A4s are also A LOT less expensive than an equivalent F30. That wasnt so much a factor for me, but if you were buying a new "aspirational" car and you are a young professional where audi / BMW seem to have about the same reputation (i dont think really that many younger people buy the C class or ATS ) a cheap CVT A4 for $5000 less than an F30 if you arent an enthusiast and just want a "nice car" i'm figuring you save your $5000 a lot of the time. My cousin has a CVT A4 with premium plus which i'd say is probably $34k ish or so probably a good $5k less than an F30 with nothing but premium if not more.

I got sport and quattro on mine, but honestly if you really like to drive its not as good. understeer city. That and the bad reliability reputation does seem to be true for VW products.

At my current parking garage, I have the only F30.... theres 3-4 b8 A4s. A few e9x though, so maybe its just new.

in LA these days i see a good amount of F30s. Mostly base , with i'd say 5-8% of the time a sport, and maybe slightly less of luxury line (i dont think i've actaully seen a modern on the street). I've seen one other m-sport in West LA EVER, which was a mineral gray. Its only been out 9 months, i'm sure itll be all over the place soon (which sucks, makes me a little happier i got estoril blue though). i saw a 335i yesterday, which was probably a first, so they do exist but just barely.

Agreed. I've only seen three or four in the entire Philly metro area, including Wilmington, DE where I work. I agree with J.V. that now that the x-Drives are out, I expect we'll see many more soon.

I see 2 or 3 a day now in LA. They are mostly black, white or gray base line cars but I've seen all the different lines including one silver ActiveHybrid 3. I see way more 328's (not surprisingly) but I've seen a fair amount of 335's too.

I've seen only 2 or 3 in the city of 400,000 where I live....and we have a university, which means lots of Asian kids, so it's surprising to see so few (but there's a X6M and a matte black C63 coupe both being driven by 20 yr olds). I've only seen white and black F30s and the idiot who owns the white one I've seen has lowered it and done a really shitty job of it because the thing bounces like crazy and is way too low.

I can go weeks with out seeing one here in the outlying Atlanta area. I rarely see any kind of BMW. I also don't go into the metro area often, where I expect there are probably many.

Biggest reason is the price.
The 3 series used to be a low $30k car.
You can't get a decent 328 under $45k or a 335 for $55k.
It creeps into 5 series territory.
Heck if I were to spend $55k, I'll add 5k to get the M3 instead!

M3s are closer to 70k. Mine was 72. Don't forget the gas guzzler tax $1300. Maybe used for 60k
