How do you like the exhaust? Is the sound worth the cash? I have yet to hear one on the F30 in person, and all the videos online sound awful (usually due to the recording device).

Was the sound what you were expecting? Would you say it turns heads?

Everytime I drive it, sitting in the car, I'm like "Hmm, it's nice."

I worked from home yesterday, and my wife drove the car...OMG, it sounds nice when I'm outside of the car.

It has a nice deep rumble, it's aggressive but not like you're driving an Eismann or Meistertreach (sp?) exhaust. I can only compare it to my Evo VIII, which had a a 3" Turboback exhaust - that was deep but LOUD.

This is deep but classy. Not raspy. If you're in the Southern CT area, we can get together and you can hear for yourself as well.

Unfortunately I am in FL, but thanks for the reassurance. What happens with the exhaust flap upon installing? I think that is what BMW aimed for then - not intrusive inside the cabin but great outside.

I’m getting it for sure. Just wondering if its something I can put on myself.
