Hi all, new to the F3x forum
 Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I'm finally getting around to joining the F3x forum. As of November of 2013, I'm the proud owner of a 2014 428i coupe. This is my 4th BMW and I'm loving it so far. Thanks for the warm welcome! Jay San Antonio, Texas

Is it a law in TX to have a front plate on the vehicle? I can easily google it, but I am bored right now... dumbest law in Ohio. I've NEVER had a front plate on any of my cars and never been ticketed, take the chance (knock on wood) and I've been pulled over before for speeding (plenty)!

Front plate woes
For those of us living in places that require a front license plate, like Texas, may I present a solution. Bought a tow-hook license plate mount and I just love it. Definitely a different way of having your front plate on the car without drilling into the bumper and having the paint chip. Got a warning while on a road trip up to Texas A&M in my old BMW for not having the front plate on, so I put it on, and the paint chipped. Not cool. This kit screws into the tow hook receptacle and didn't chip the paint. Perfect!
