New Shoes - F31 w/ 359M Wheels
Just fitted a square set (19x9) of 359m wheels to my 2015 328d xdrive. Wrapped in 245/35 michelin pilot sport AS 4 tires. Absolutely love them both aesthetically and feel-wise. Feels much more planted (was previously on pirelli p zero’s on oem 18’s) and somehow more comfortable as well. Also just looks like it suits the car much better than the 18’s.
Next up: shadowline LCI taillights, kermatdi stage 2 tune, and m performance big brake kit (370mm rotors front, 345mm rear, drilled & slotted w/ red 2 piston calipers). 6 months into ownership as my daily and loving this car so far. can’t complain about power when i’m averaging 37mpg

I thought the exact same, is it a CS interior or replica? The holes in the 12 o'clock in the wheel make me think CS or CS style
I really like the wheels. I was originally thinking 400m for my 328i however, these 359m are giving me pause... pashad13 My question on the wheels, have you cleaned them yet? If so, 1 to 10 how hard are they to clean?

I sort of frankensteined it together.
The dry carbon/alcantara gear selector, surround, e-brake & boot, as well as the dry carbon steering wheel insert are all orginal OEM M-Performance parts i sourced. The alcantara door handle inserts, center console, and dash insert are all from an eBay vendor. The gloss black illuminated AC surround & door strips are from an amazon vendor (had to take each door card off and rewire to install but it wasn’t too hard). The CS style wheel is a wrap i custom ordered and stitched on. The M1 & M2 buttons were ordered by a vendor and i wired those in so they are functional. I will say i’m pretty proud of how it all came together.

I actually switched from 400m to these. my 400m’s have nearly brand new pirelli p zero’s on them and i’m looking to well them. i’d also charge very cheap because (i think) all wheels would need curb rash repair & refinishing. if you’re local, come check them out. i’m in LA.

i believe they are shared with the F80, yes. it is an OEM M performance big brake kit (brembo F: 370mm & R: 345mm)
realized though that i accidentally put the front calipers upside down. so now i need to switch them around and re-bleed…. 🤦‍♂️

Good to see another So Cal F31! I agree with the looks and performance by switching to the 19”s and Mps tires. I did the same with mine. A world of difference.
Let me know if you’re experiencing some noise once you’ve installed your brakes correctly. I recently got the same brakes as you and hear this Cricket like noise coming from the brakes. They say it’s the rotors causing it because it dimpled and slotted |
