I like the interior a lot, but... I'm not feeling the exterior as much. It's not bad... just I don't know. It looks like a Z4. I prefer the current E92 look TBH. It just isn't as fluid as the old look to me. The front end looks somewhat overweight/bulging. Not feeling the headlights meeting the grill either.

Overall, still looks nice, but I prefer the old look.

BMW rendered 'studio' shots look shit in my opinion. The reason why all BMW's look better in the flesh is because their official photo's are crap.

I do quite like the 4 though.

I also hate the new cut line on the front hood. I asked this service advisor once at a BMW dealer and he said it is all due to new regulations in Europe. the way it's cut now is supposed to be safer for pedestrians. according to him the hood would crash concaved in instead of pop up.

I have a problem with the bumper and below the bumper design. looks like a bulldog's mouth when it's angry. not in a good way.

I'm usually an early adopter of technology, design, etc. However, I have not been able to warm up to this car and I hate the sedan. Both cars got nothing on the E9X. JMO

Corrected a mistake.

These are the correct 0-60mph times:

435i Coupe 0-60: 5.0 sec (auto) / 5.3 sec (manual)

The front and rear of the f32 look overbaked, in my opinion. Whereas the e92 looks taught and youthful, the f32 looks like it has aged in such a way that the face and arse are starting to sag.

Exactly! I really hate that about the design.

i should look to create the hump for the idrive as a retrofit option. i think with the cover of the e9x, the interior would look better. the idrive screen looks like it should be motorized and come out of the dash a la audi, but its static and looks cheap a la mercedes.

The f32 looks much more muscular and aggressive than the e92, which I always thought looked too "plain" (with the exception of the M3).

These two live pictures say it all to me:

The regular e92 at those angles does not look as good. It's all in the little details, like how the e92 M3 looks so much better than the e92 despite being the same basic car.

e92 looks better imo. The front of the 4er is weird looking. That boomerang side vent is REALLY turning me off the car.

Don't like the front at all, basically it's the same hideous F30 front.

Looks nice enough from the side/back.

Loaded up the 428 is going to be pushing $50-55K, a lot for a 4 banger.

I think the F32 and E92 are both great looking cars, but the F32 is definitely fresher/more aggressive looking.

I can't wait to see the M4 (that is weird to type..."M4" )

Can't say that I have a problem with the look of either of them. I like them both. I will say I don't see anything in pictures alone that is compelling enough to sell my E92 and get the F32.

I noticed that the new version is a tick slower than the early, N54 E92s, which were cited at o-60 in 4.9. Of course that tick and $2.00 will get you a cup of Joe at Starbucks, but being 50-100 lbs lighter, I'd have thought it'd be a tick faster rather than slower. Also, I'm guessing the F32 won't have the folding door door pockets. I love that the door storage area folds shut and keeps what's in them concealed. But I'll bet too that the door storage capacity is greater in the F32....even so, both will hold what I put in there, my registration and coins.

The thing I find most surprising is the price jump for the F332 328i...$2000 is quite a leap.

The 4 series is not impressing me at all. I was hoping for a lot more then huge plastic filled gaping holes in front. The rear end exhaust setup and all is same as E92. They took the concept 4 series and turned it into boring blah product. To be honest E92 335i vs E46 330i was a huge difference. This looks like same ol same ol. If I wanted same ol same ol with a new label I would have already moved on to a Porsche.

I will keep my E92 and look some where else for my next car until the fix this mess up with a proper well done M4.
