I emailed a local SA about a potential 435i lease for 3 years 10k miles per year and without a cap reduction, only license reg and first payments, payment comes out to $826 including local sales tax of 9% for a $58k msrp.

Take a look and tell me what you think. There is a huge mark-up in the MF for unknown reasons from 0.00125 to 0.00165.

It's a total ripoff. Never pay MSRP. I just ordered a 435 $2800 off MSRP (no incentives in that discount), 62% RV, .00125 for 36 months.

Thats ridiculous for 10k miles...I was told it was going to be crappy by my sales people in july, which is why I just went with the 3.

I received a return email stating they are selling all 435's at msrp with the mark-up on the MF and if I were to place an order they would give a discount plus the regular 0.00125 MF rate.

I could be driving a 640 coupe for $800 a month.

Yea I dont plan to order from them, they were the only dealer in the area that had a 435 in stock so I wanted to know what they would offer.

Ive had better offers. But I am looking to replace my MY12 328i with a $63k 435i. Maybe I should wait a while because payments should drop just after new years.

Keep in mind the basics of supply and demand.

How many 4 series are stateside?

How many people are going to walk in and say "hey this looks nice I want it!"

How many allocation slots are the dealers going to have in the next few months?

First off never try to negotiate over the internet. But I would expect your negotiating power to be low when the car is so new. I certainly wouldn't expect any "$500 over invoice" deals or anything close.

That is exactly what I did after my local dealership wasn't giving discounts. David was extremely helpful and I'm looking forward to taking delivery of my 428i next month.
