Need advice, winter rim+ tires style 159

Hi all. Need some advice. Getting conflicting information from 2 different BMW dealers here. I'm looking at purchasing a set of used wheels.
Will OEM wheel style 159, 17 inch with 225/45 R17 rubber fit on a 2013 328 X drive?
Some say will fit, some say no as the hub design for the F30 has changed. Something to do with 14mm bolts?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, the hub diameter is still the same.

They will fit, but the overall diameter will be smaller then what is recommended which is 225 50 17.

I've fitted my old style 156 (16") on my 320d with no issues (other than its looks a bit rubbish).

the bolts are M14 vs M12. not an issue, just reuse your stock bolts.
tire size will be off though.
i'm also assuming that canada still uses FTM without sensors vs TPMS, otherwise, the sensors will not be compatible across the body styles

F30 uses 225/50/17, 26" in diameter
E9X uses 225/45/17, 25" in diameter

your speedometer and odometer will be off (read high) by 3%
