which fuel in 428i?

i imported US spec 428i to Europe. Just wondering what are the forum users putting in their tanks in Europe/US? Is Super 95 enough as opposed to Premium 98? Anyone noticed a major difference between the two?

I am also managing to get only 22MPG so far (10.5ltr/100km). Coming off a diesel this is a bit eye-watering; on the other hand i cant complain about the engine sound

95 Europe is equivelant to US 89, 98 is equivelant to US 91-93. I'll bet that your gas door says 89 minimum, 91 recommended. You'll bet slightly better mileage and power with 91.

I'm using 102oct as my preferred gas station is not offering 98 anyway and its the same price as 98 at other gas stations.

Getting normally around 9l/100km without touching eco pro.
On a complete fuel tank on german autobahn without any city driving my best achievement was 7.5l/100km real consumption, not BC.
Thats with cruising around between 160 and 220kph where allowed.

During the first 1000km break in it was 7.2l/100km, but here I was strictly sticking to speed limits and avoiding any stress on the engine.

I have a 428i GC with 5000kms on it now and I'v only used 91 octane (Canada/US). Note that my GC is a bit heavier than your coupe.

I normally do about 85% city driving and have been averaging about 8.5L/100kms but in my last tank I did about 50% highway and 50% city and got 7.157L/100km. (my real consumption I calculate every time I fill up)

This is with Start/Stop enabled... I'm really happy about the consumption of this motor so far
