Ordered the new car today
Well Chaps, after much consternation I have just ordered the new car.
Was going to buy the new Mustang but I only wanted the GT350 and they are not coming down here, was also looking at the new C class. So, I have ordered a F10 528 with M sport package. Details are: Mineral Grey Mocha Nappa Leather and anthracite trim Professional package (comfort access, connected drive freedom, DAB, driving assistant, driving assistant plus, HUD, lane change warning, heated seats, multifunctional instrument display, surround view) Sunroof Comfort Seats, with ventilation Dynamic damper control Soft close doors Ceramic surrounds Front Splitter Rear Spoiler M5 grills M pedals. Not much more I could add in! Now that wait begins, again. If anyone is looking to upgrade now is the time as they are doing some tremendous deals. H |

Congrats HFW003 on your (next) Beemer, sounds awesome.
When do you take delivery? Also, being a merely lowly F30 driver, I'm not sure what 'soft closing doors', but if they are what I think they are...well that's pretty lux! |

Soft closing doors, stop numbnuts from slamming the doors. Apparently you give them a gentle push and the close themselves, how very special. |

No not really, the colours are somewhat limited unless you want to spend $5k on an individual colour and even then the colours are pretty boring. My first F30 was mineral grey so I have always liked the colour and as I wanted the MSport the colours were plain white, metallic black, silver, Dk blue, and one or two others I can't even recall so MG was the pick. If they did the Mineral White I may have done that. The local dealers got one in MG for me to test and it looks very good in that colour. I can't stand the elephant hide they try and pass of as Dakota Leather so I was definitely not having that shit again. Knew I wanted Nappa and I don't do black interiors so the Mocha was the pick. It is should be here mid-Septemberish. |
