Also, just because the sport suspension on the F30 may be a little softer than the non sport e90 doesn't mean the F30 doesn't handle better.

I think my f30 does handle better with less understeer and less body roll than the e90. The softer suspension on the f30 mostly affects feel and sometimes your feel of when the car takes a weight set in a curve, but out of the box I think f30 performs better

I've had my Sport Line 328i for about two weeks and 200 miles now. Coming out of an E90, I will say that the F30 Sport Line is still not like the E90 nor do I think it's supposed to be. The E90 and the F30 are like apples and oranges. Two totally different cars.
Having said that, the Sport Line is firm and tight. Tires are very hard though and maybe too hard in the rear...causing me to feel a jarring / clunking in the rear as I go over sharp cracks & bumps in the road at low in town speeds. Still trying to figure out of something is loose, or if this is just a feeling & sound I'll have to get used to.
To sum it up, Sport Line is friggen pretty as hell, just might be a bit too ridged.

Welcome fellow Santa Barbara bimmerpost member

I have been extremely pleased with my E90 since I got it, and now contemplating a switch to the F30. All I have heard so far is the F30 sport line is softer than the E90 w/ sports pkg. You could take a test drive in another Sports-line and see if you get the same feeling, if not something is up with your car.

btw, Mineral Grey is sweet for the sunny side!
