F30 Fog Light Assembly Replacement (DIY)

I didn't see a DIY when I searched for it so here it is. If this is a repost I apologize.

This is a DIY to change out your broken fog light for your F30.

1) Raise the vehicle until the front tire is no longer touching the floor.
2) Remove the Wheelarch Trim housing around the tire (there are 10 Screws).
3) On the Passenger side, there is a Horn. Remove it to get easy access to the Fog Light.
4) Remove the Torx screw holding down the fog light and lift the cable tie so you can remove the Fog Light.
5) Reverse the process to install new Fog Light.

Please feel free to add suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. So no need to remove the wheel? I assume jacking it up just gives more space to remove the trim housing?

No need to remove wheel. Turn steering wheel all the way to the opposite side of light you are working on to maximize space. Shouldn't need to remove wheel liner, just peel back once fasteners removed.
