Adjusted mine 10 clicks clockwise or one full turn on the screw driver, both passenger and driver. Equated to about an inch on the garage wall.
This should improve some and seems like a good start...

Any chance we can have the links fixed for the pics in the OP?

Here are the pictures of the headlights on an LCI F30 (with LEDs).

I can see the vertical adjustment screw now, but am not sure about the horizontal adjustment (white cap). Does that white piece get removed and uncover an adjustment screw? Didn't want to start prying at it just yet.

Okay, so I did the vertical adjustment last night and it's much better. I think if I adjusted the horizontal a little bit to the left, it would be perfect. I tried messing with the white cap adjuster thing and don't see anyway how it would come out. Not sure how that whole thing works?

How much adjustment did you give it?

The left side needed like 1 or 1.5x full turns. The right side maybe 3/4 of a turn. The road is much more lit up now in front of me, but it's still cutting off a decent amount as to not blind oncoming traffic.

I just can't see to the left side of the car that well (with brights on or off) and if I can get that better, it would be perfect!

Just bumping this thread again.

Any idea how to perform the horizontal adjustment with the white caps? Not sure if the LCI LED headlights still have horizontal adjustment. I tried to remove them or turn them and it's not budging. Definitely feels like I'll be breaking something if I try any harder.

Is the one you pictured for vertical or horizontal adjustment?

I have read somewhere that although this is adjusting the resting level point of the lights there is a coding setting to change as our lights are stuck in a generic Town Light setting (#2). TO get the lights to work like they have been meant from Factory in Europe we need to code the lights for Autobahn Lighting (#4) to take full effect of a farther beam pattern. Anyone stumble upon this sort of coding for the lights?

Tried adjusting the horizontal (mine has the black cap covering the white screw head) but couldn't get the black cap off. Any pointers?

I believe variable light distribution is what you are talking about. However it appears you need either the high beam assist or speed limit camera for it, wondering if it could be coded without those

Had to adjust my drivers side 2 full turns (anti clockwise to raise the light). Now it's perfect.

Had to do the same on my xenons 3 years ago, but just 1 and a bit turns.

So glad I found this. The twats at my BMW dealership messed up my lights after the bumper came off for a respray. Literally took 5 mins to fix this.

fyi, you don't need a hex socket. Just use a long flat head screwdriver to make the adjustments on each headlight.

I can now see further than 2 meters away. (It was truly frightening on my mountain road last night not being able to see ahead).

This is the same issue I'm having. What to do about the black cap covering the screw head. Have you figured this out? Do you just yank it off somehow and hope nothing breaks?

You just need to use some pliers and a thin flat-head to pry the caps off. There are 3 tabs I believe that kind of hold it in place over the adjustment screw, and you need to use the flat head to bend them outwards slightly. Takes a bit of wiggling but you can pull relatively firmly and there should be no problems.
