335i msport and 328i msport front calipers

Hi! Any folks know whether the 335i msport and the 328i msport shares the same front calipers? If so, does that mean we can retrofit the 335i msport or the m performance 370mm front rotors to the 328i msport?

Thanks!

No they don't, the rotors are different, hence the calipers are different. 328i M sport front are 13.4" vs 14.6" for the 335i. The 328i m sport brakes are the same size as the stock 335i brakes - 13.4".

I just read from the forum that the European spec msport, no matter its a 328i msport or a 335i msport, they share the same caliper, which they are identical to the m performance ones; while the US spec 328i msport used the standard 335i front caliper that are painted in blue, anyone know anything about this? If that is the case, the European spec 328i msport can retrofit the m performance front brake rotors, while the 328i US spec msport cannot? Arg..... Very complicated!!

EU-spec M-sport with optional M-sport brakes (option 2NH), then it's same for 328i M-sport & 335i M-sport & also M-performance.
US-spec M-sports are not yet available with option 2NH from factory. So yes, u can just swap the discs with the M-performance if u have a EU-spec M-sport that has option 2NH.

No, for option 2NH it's the same as M-performance except no slotted discs & blue calipers.

Ok, 2NH part numbers seem to be the same for both 328i and 335i.

There are 2 different M performance front rotor sizes though - 340mm (34106797602)
and 370mm (34106797603).

bear in mind, do a swap like this would also require CODING, i'm unsure if anyone can code for this brake change currently, let alone brake bias...

340mm is for 320i & below w/2NH. 370mm is for 328i & above with 2NH.

If u already have 2NH then u don't need to do any coding, cos it's already coded from the factory.

I must clarify one thing before we move on. For US-spec M-sports, the brakes are of the same size as non-M-sport models, the only difference is the pad materials (M-sport uses standard EU-spec pads which bites more aggressively but have more dust). In ur case the pads for any 335i will fit.
