Latest gearbox software, maps and iDrive

Hello chaps, before collection of my car, does anyone know the latest software configurations and versions for the gearbox, map pack and idrive?

I want to ensure my vehicle has this before taking it away (usually BMW charge for this...).

Naweed.

I have got integration updates for free from BMW. I mentioned that idrive randomly rebooted and they updated to latest integration level. Confirmed by checking on ISTA.

You can go here...

https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.co.uk...x.html#/portal

...register and then log-in (it's same log-in as other BMW sites, so you may already be registered). Register the car reg no with the site, an authentication code is sent to the car display which you key into the site.
It will then tell you what services are available for the car. Maps are free for the life of the 3 year warranty. On the HOME page (select top left) go to bottom right MAP UPDATE where you can download BMW DownLoadManager, which is then used to d/l latest maps and then copy to USB stick (you will need about 22Gb). Put stick in USB socket in central console and it will start update when car is switched on. Update runs for around 45 mins so keep engine running. I just downloaded 2018-1 for my 320 and it worked flawlessly.
