M340i LCI Touring 1st drive by Joe Achilles

Joe only has good things to say. I'm surprised, he's very restrained. Only complaint were the seats!

Serious question: can I just order station wagon and have it imported from Germany or some other european country?

Possibly, but won't be able to register or insure it So would just sit in garage. Vehicles have to be 25 years old, then can be legally used here

Really wish that they also did reviews of NON Msport cars. Because I have a feeling in black they look better and less fussy. But how do I know that for sure? ... I dont. Because Id like a review...

And then the overused “kid on the bike” comments will resurface over and over.

Really wouldn’t mind this being offered in the NA market. Or the G81 for that matter

I guess we are lucky with a 15 years threshold here in Canada. I can start looking at those E91 LCIs, either 335i or 335d...

Haha I’m not surprised. He seems like a great dude to grab a beer with but I had to block his channel because he just seemed so biased … everything is always amazing. Rare to give criticism. Idk. His channel was growing really fast a couple years ago and was probably worried if he was critical then he wouldn’t get the opportunity to keep reviewing cars.

It’s a really common problem with a lot of channels but he was particularly over the top.

But he’s still good to watch every now and again. So I’ll go ahead and watch this

Sadly we will not be getting them. They just might into the X series profits imo. 70K gets you 4.2 seconds and I looked at the stats for the 23 911 Sport Classic and that was just 3.9 seconds. No wonder you see so many Tourings in UK and Germany.

You must be quoting Porsche's numbers...It will be a lot, lot quicker than that in tests. All the Germans rate their cars slower. Porsche is the biggest under-rater. Not trying to knock the M340, I'd have loved the chance for the M3CX Touring, but I don't think reasonable to say the 911SC and the M340 are going to be anywhere near each other in performance...straight line or not.

but this thing will be as quick in winter, thunderstorm,
as useful with family, dogs, skis and small wardrobes,
and code in comfort plus and it floats like a rolls royce (umm... yeah about that one ...)
