Question about settings and lighting

I looked through the manual however was unable to identify an answer to the following question:

When I first purchased my 335 F30 Sport the day time running lights would come on when I unlocked the vehcile via the remote entry. Also, the dash would automaticailly light up or dim depending on the light from outside (for example when i would turn on the vehicle in my garage the dash would be orange and after driving outside it would dim/fade).

Seems this is no longer the case as I have been having to control the dash lighting manually and when I hit the unlock button on hte remote entry the day time running lights do not come on.

I must have hit a switch or changed a setting. Any idea what I need to do to reset this back to the original setting described above?

Thank you!

Just turn the switch to the far left...and never touch it again...it will remain on auto always!

I know what you're going through...

I cant concentrate at work at all. I spend my whole day on this forum...I'm still waiting for my car to get delivered...yesterday I found out that I'm going to have to wait till the 31st of NEXT MONTH!!!

So instead of crying, I'm reading and writing on different forums and counting my days...I'm not working much but spending time sitting in front of this computer screen and watching pictures of people picking up their F30...

I CANT WAIT TO GET MY CAR!!!
