Right Front headlight module not responding

2017 440i F36,

Ever since I purchased this vehicle, my right front headlight vertical aiming/horizontal aiming and angel eyes haven't worked, when scanning vehicle with ISTA, my headlight module is not responding, where should I start with diag? Hoping to finally iron out all of my electrical issues and free up my instrument cluster from all these errors lol.

If you’ve replaced the module with a brand new one, I would varify it is receiving power. If you bought a brand new module, sometimes those need to be coded to the car using ESYS. It’s a simple process. You need to inject the CAFD file into the module.

So i’ve been busy in ISTA with the diagrams, fuse 149 for the right headlight module has no power at all times, when i pin into the pin 5 of the connector going into the headlight, i get .5volts, something isn’t adding up

Give me some more information about the car. Was it in an accident before? Did the previous owner mention this module? What does ISTA say about the module? Does it say "Improper voltage" or something like that? Or does it say its not receiving information correctly? If the fuses are okay, I would move on.

Vehicle has had front end damge according to carfax, and i never have said a word to any previous owners. I am attaching the ista scans, module is not responding at all, ignore the combox, it was water damged from a previous body wrap and i coded it out. High beams, angel eyes, vertical, and horizontal movement does not work on that side.

Fuse f149 has no power at it(circled in purple), and the connector at the headlight, pin 5, has .5v(but i am using a sub par multimeter).

Low beams work

If you wanna give me a call I can talk you through some diagnostics that I would perform. Typing on a forum back and forth is not the best way to communicate. Electronic issues are very complicated. You can DM me your number and I can give you a call.
