Fabspeed has spacers for the M3/4 and you already know that if it's fabspeed it's going to work. They would not sell it if it didn't.

Actually, they could not confirm that it would work for 2015 N55, but still selling it.

I just passed NY State inspection with the below spacer and VRSF catless DP. Be sure to remove the mini cat and cap when installing O2 sensor. All of my monitors went green after about 20-30 miles of driving. No CEL…

So a catless is ok on emissions then you'd say.
What does the secondary o2 sensor do. Does it do fuelling calculations etc based on emissions.

I couldn't answer the first question honestly... They don't do sniffer tests here so I don't have to worry, and visual inspection is pretty much non existent. At least from my experience with the specific shops I take my car to. The secondary 02 monitors the operating efficiency of the catalytic converter.

I would say not at all with the amount of time required to get you green, pass the test, then take it off.

Well in a small time period I don’t think there would be any short term or long term affects. My question was more so of keeping on the O2 spacer for like 10-20 thousand miles. What would the affects be than? Would it extend the O2 sensor life or decrease it?

I wouldn't want to run the risk of a lean condition over a long period of time with the spacer on. I just pass emissions and remove it, it's easy enough to do.

Yeah, that's way too long. Use it to pass inspection then remove it.
