Not true. It warms the engine up faster, causing less wear.

Correct. Don't be scared of the aggressiveness slider. I had mine on 4 and I felt like it was less aggressive than stock. I upped it to 5.5, but I haven't gone for a ride yet. I set the duration to 2.0 seconds which is actually a bit longer than I'd like. What I do like is that I get burbles in between shifts. *burp burp* I have a manual transmission.

This is a great article if you are experiencing misfires after you flash your tune. Coils and spark plugs should not be ignored! Educate yourself around the causes of them and care for them to avoid damage to your motor. This also makes sense if you have hesitations and stumbles in your power delivery. Cheers!

I've replaced my plugs with the NGK one step colder gapped at 0.020". Logs look clean but thinking that I may do could in the near future as preventative maintenance. Are people here using stock coils or upgrading? If upgrading what are you going with?

oem coils are actually quite good. I would definitely stick with them. Don't do the Bavarian Autosport high performance coils. In my opinion, they don't perform any better than stock.

there is another coil that does well, I just can't remember the name the top of my head. I'll see if I can dig it up for you

Eldor is a good choice also. they are the same folks that make the BMW coil. Except it is not branded genuine BMW. they are OEM replacement and they are the same coils as on the Rolls-Royce Wraith that pushes 625 horsepower. They can handle all the spark you can throw at it

Hi guys,

Would somebody experienced take a look at these two runs I did today and tell me his/her opinion about it? This is a PWG being FBO'ed yesterday runnning on OTS Stage 2 93 v7. Car has been filled up with 102 octane.

Run 01:
https://datazap.me/u/lindi/stage-2-f...1?log=0&data=4

Run 02:
https://datazap.me/u/lindi/stage-2-f...2?log=0&data=4

Traffic was high thats why I had to lift a little ealier as I'd have liked. I can see 1 knock during Run 02 after shift into 5th. Anything to worry about? How about cylinder 4s timings which always seem to drag a little bit.

Thank you!

Good to know!! I browsed x-ph.com to see if they carried the Eldor coils. I couldn't find them there but did at oembimmerparts. These can be had for $31 a pop...

So just for fun, I flashed the Stock M2 map that's available for N55. I logged it today and had some interesting results. Boost spiked to over 21 psi and target load over 171% when I hit the wall (felt like throttle closure) and I let off throttle. I would be interested in your thoughts. I'm running a E20 mix but fuel pumps seemed fine.

just flashed and it doesn't seem to work. i read somewhere that dzenan says it's currently only for s55 engines.

right now comfort/sport, the valves open and close according to rpms. sport+ they stay open, and eco they stay closed. can anyone confirm they stay open in sport mode on n55's?

tia

So I’ve seen a lot of dyno results for the version 6 stage 2 93 octane map on FBO PWG RWD N55s but no AWD N55 results. Anyone have a link to this or have any idea?
